Chapter 2

  You glance over at the clock, signaling that it was 7pm. You jump over to your closet and put on a decent outfit. You run down to your door and make sure to lock them behind you. You walk over to the bar Burr told you about, leaving you to your own thoughts. I really hope i'll have a good time there, i haven't been doing much lately, you think to yourself. After about 10 minutes, you arrive to the bar, and you gasp in surprise. The bar was bursting with people, and you look around for Burr. You walk through the crowd, saying 'excuse me' or 'oops! sorry!' You glance around and see Lafayette with a woman. ""Lafayette! Didn't think I'd see you here!" You shout, him glancing back. He waves you over, showing his cute smile. Honestly if he wasn't straight... you think to yourself, but snapping back to reality quickly. "Hey there!" You say, and glance at the woman. "Who is she?" You whisper to Lafayette. "Y/N, she's beautiful." Lafayette said, loud enough for her to hear, her blushing in response. You shake her hand firmly. "I'm John Laurens!" You say, letting go of her hand. "Hey! I saw Burr over there, wanna say hello?" You say, dragging Lafayette with you. You run over to Burr at a table with 2 other men. One was Mulligan, and the other was... Oh my. It was him. Him. The one from your dreams. You try not to show your deep feelings for him, sitting down. You couldn't help but gaze at him. He had a cute ponytail and beard. He looked over at you, and you felt helpless. He had Violet-Blue eyes, and you felt lost in him. He shook your hand, and you melted. "Hi there, im Alexander Hamilton, and you are?" He said in a passionate voice. It took all you could muster to sputter out a "J-John Laurens." He nodded and you noticed a small amount of blush. "Good to meet you." Alex said, turning away his face to Burr. Burr looked at Alex, had sudden pain in his eyes, and looked back at you. Your thoughts were running wild. What's going on? Does Alex like me? Wait, why am i asking that? Agh! Your heart was thumping out of your chest, and you could barely move.

    Mulligan handed out a bottle of beer to everyone, and they all clinked their bottles together. "To freedom!" The group said, you glancing around. You noticed Burr in a corner by himself, sipping the beer. You walk over and a pull over a chair. "Burr? Why don't you join the rest of us?" You ask, feeling concerned for Burr. He sighs and gazes at Hamilton laughing with the others. "No, I'm good over here." Burr responds. There's a gap of awkward silence. "Get back over there, kid. You know he wants you over there." Burr says, patting you on the back. You blush. How did he know? "It's pretty Obvious, you know." Burr said, as if he read your mind. You get up to leave Burr with his thoughts and return to the table. Alex pats you on the back quickly. "laurens!~ where did you go?~" Alex said in a whiny tone. You blush at him, and look over at Burr in the corner. "no matter, you're here now~" Alex said, clearly drunk. Alex strangely petted your face, you in utter confusion. "your face is so smooth~" Alex mutters, then he almost falls to the floor. You catch him and put his arm around your neck. "Whoa there!" You say, realizing how intoxicated he is. "aw thanks, You're so kindddd~" Alex said, drooping down. "Alright, let's go home buddy." You say, not wanting to. You wave goodbye to Mulligan, Lafayette, and Burr, and head outside. You set Alex on a bench, and wonder what to do. I could leave him out here to go home? But he probably would get lost. What do i do? You think, pacing around. Hm. Seems like there's no other option....
