There I was trapped. Behind my own dad's fire wall. I listened to the crackling it made, beautiful yet deadly. I remember back to the days that the noise would put me to sleep. But now all I want is to rid that sound from my memory.
I can hear screams that seem somewhat distant. They're coming from my comrades, that much I know. But what way? They seem to be coming from everywhere. I can't save them all. Can I?
An explosion goes off behind me. The sound deafens my ears. Holding my hand up to my head I clench onto my hair. Turning around I watch as my father walks out of blue flames coming directly towards me.
