The Blade Academy: The Six's Reign

Gay is Okay-Cooper's POV

I walked to find Gage and Ryland. They had something for me to do. I found them talking to Athena and Nadia. I also saw Mark and Rocco with a red haired girl who looked like Owen.

"Cooper, there you are. Can you go to the daycare room and let Lyla have a break. Those kids are crazy." Gage said.

"Isn't one of them your kid?" I asked.

"Yep, he's the craziest." Gage told me.

"Ok, I'll go right now. Bye!" I walked to the little playroom where Lyla was watching the kids. "Lyla, you can take a break."

"Ok, thanks, be careful. These kids are kinda crazy." She told me. I gave her a look.

"Trust me, kids love me." I confidently said. Lyla left and I looked at the four kids. Joey, Bella and Gage's son was here. Zane, Ella and Ryland's son who is a werewolf. Riley and Gael, Logan and Poppy's twins were also here.

"Ok, who's ready to play hide n seek." I said cheerfully to all the kids. They all cheered. I smiled. "I'll count first, make sure to stay in this room. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen. Ready or not here I come!" When I opened my eyes, I saw two feet. "I see you!" Someone giggled. I walked over to the feet and it was Joey. Joey grinned so big.

"Aww" he shouted. I looked around a little and saw something move. I ran over to the thing and it was Zane under a blanket.

"Hehehehe!" Zane giggled and I picked him up and put him by Joey who was still smiling.

"Where are the twins?" I said out loud and then I heard a giggle. I didn't know where that came from though. "Are two invisible?" I said to the twins and they appeared in front of me. "There you are!" I yelled in shock and then I realized I was being watched. I turned to the door and Asher was standing there.

"What do you want?" I said to him not looking at him. The kids started to play with toys again.

"I wanted to say thank you for saving me from being taken. I know I'm always a jerk to you and you still helped me. I would have never done that for you." He told me. He looked like he meant what he said. He came closer to me. "Did you really mean what you said to that woman in the coven house?"

"Yea, why do you care, your the reason I feel that way." I looked to the floor again.

"I'm sorry about everything I've done to you, do you know why I am so mean to people?" He asked me and I shook my head no. "I was abused by my father, that's when Lexi came across me and helped me become strong." He explained to me.

"How could your father do that to you?" I asked him. He looked scared of telling me.

"My dad beat me because I was like you. He didn't like that." He told me and started to freak a bit.

"Woah, I knew it."

"What? How? I am so not obvious." He shouted. I laughed.

"I have amazing gaydar. And you always being mean to me was you always wanting to talk to me." I told him and he looked angry now. "Sorry, but I like you and I knew you kind of liked me." I smiled at him. He got flustered because I accused him of the truth. "Ok, I have to get back to watching theses kids so you can go or is there something you want to do?" I winked at him. I turned around to look at the kids, but Asher grabbed my arm and pulled me into a small kiss. It only lasted a couple seconds, but it was my first kiss and it was actually good.

"Goodbye now," he walked out and I smiled to myself. I looked at the kids who were staring at me. "What?"

"You kissed him." Riley giggled and I walked over and hugged her.

"I know, it was great." Then I just started to play with them again.
