Miyah POV

Everyone was crying... I'm talking about everyone.

I don't even think I've ever seen jahseh cry before.

I just hoped she gets better because I can't loose her and my mom.

We all sat there in a comfortable silence until the doctor came in.

"Is she gonna be okay" Ool asked.

"Yes sir she just has a slight concussion from being hit so hard so she'll have to be on bed rest for some time" he said.

"Well at least she's still alive" Jahseh said.

I didn't say anything I just sat there holding her hand.

I felt start to rub on my back and I looked up to see coolie.

"Everything is gonna be okay. Don't stress yourself out too much"  he assured me.

"I know.. I'm just sick of going to the hospital because someone's been hurt or somebody died" I said.

"I understand.. maybe we can visit your mom later on" he said.

"Yeah sure" I said, giving him a weak smile.

After a while of sitting there with Valerie we went to the room my mom was, since the were in the same hospital.

"She looks terrible" I mumbled.

"If she doesn't wake up within the next month I think.. I'm gonna have to pull the plug" I said while staring at her body.

I can't even cry anymore. There's no tears left, now I'm just an empty body.

"Come on miyah, you don't have to do that" coolie said.

"I don't wanna see her like this anymore" I mumbled.

Coolie POV

There's too much going on. Valerie got raped, miyah is an emotional wreck, ool is unhealthy as fuck, and Jahseh is facing charges for Geneva's bull shit and he might be going to jail for life, and I'm just here.

What's gonna happen next?

"Don't overthink too much" miyah said softly.

"Sorry it's just a lot happening" I said.

"I know but overthinking makes it worse so just try to hope for the best" she said.

"Okay.. you wanna go back with everyone else" I asked.

"Yeah sure" she said.

I grabbed her hand but before we left I said "I'm sorry for everything"

"It's fine, things happen" she said.

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"Come on, let's go" she said.

We walked back to the room and everyone was asleep so we got comfortable and went to sleep also.

*the next morning*

Valerie POV

I woke up and noticed I was in a hospital. I looked around and seen everyone sleeping and I had a massive headache.

"I'm awake" I said as I loud as I can making everyone wake up.

Ool quickly got up and ran over to me, hugging me.

"You're awake" he mumbled. I could hear him sniffing, signaling that he was crying so rubbed his back and said "yeah I'm awake and I'm okay"

"Jah can you go find the doctor" miyah said softly.

"Yeah" he said before walking out.

She walked over to me and grabbed my hand.

"I'm so sorry" she said.

"It's okay miyah" I said.

She gave me a hug and pulled away after a few seconds.

Cookie walked to me and he also grabbed my hand.

"I'm glad you're awake" he said before the doctor came in.

"I see you awake, any pain" he asked.

"Yeah my head hurts really bad and a lil bit of pain in my legs" I said.

"Okay I'm gonna give you some medicine for that and you're suffering from a concussion so no operating heavy machinery such as cars and no participating in sports" he said.

"Oh yeah and we're gonna give you a wheelchair" he said.

"I'll be right back with that stuff and then you guys can go home" he said before walking out.

"Who did this to you" Ool asked.

"I don't know, some random dude" I mumbled.

"We'll find him aight" Jah said.

"Okay, thank you" I said.

"No problem"

We talk for a while before the doctor came back in.

"I have your clothes, your medicine, and the wheelchair" he said.

"Okay thank you" I said.

"I'll help you up" ool said.

"Oh no sir you are way too skinny and weak to be helping anyone" miyah said.

Jahseh grabbed me and put in the wheelchair and coolie grabbed my clothes and the medicine.

"Now let's go" jahseh said.

Once we were out of the hospital we got in our cars and we drove to my house.

"I'm hungry" I said.

"I'll cook something and ool you need to eat too" miyah said.

"Why y'all always making me eat" he asked.

"Because you're unhealthy" she said.

"You weren't eating" I asked.

"No" he mumbled.

"Why" I asked.

"Because I was miserable without you Valerie and it didn't feel right when I ate so I didn't" he said.

I feel a little bad...

Once miyah was done cooking, we all ate and talked about how we need to get back how we used to be... when we were all healthy and happy.

"Well I'm gonna go to sleep in the living because I don't wanna leave you guys alone" miyah said.

"Aight and imma drop coolie off home and imma go home" jahseh said.

"Okay well thanks for being here" I said as I shared a long hug with jah and coolie.

"We'll see y'all later" coolie said before they walked out.

Miyah POV

"Im gonna go to bed" Valerie said.

"Wait, how are you gonna get up the stairs" I asked.

"I can walk just fine, I don't know why they gave me a wheelchair" she said before getting up and going upstairs.

"I'm gonna go to bed too, thanks for staying here with us" ool said.

"No problem and I'll sleep down here" I said.

"Okay. Well, goodnight" he said.

"Goodnight" I said before he walked upstairs.

I grabbed a blanket and turned on the tv, watching some random show until I fell asleep.
