Love goes on (Duncney sad story)

Chapter 2

When Courtney got a call from Duncan's mom that morning,she ingnored it. She was eating her favorite breakfast and looking at FaceBook to see what
was new. Her phone kept ringing constantly by calls from Duncan's mother.Finally she answered."What is the problem ? This is the most I've ever heard
from you." Duncan's mom was hysterical.She could barely speak through her tears."Get to Duncan's house,Quickly.It's important."Courtney didn't want to
go over there.She had no desire to be anywhere near there ever again.She fought the urge to say no."I'll be right over."She gathered her things and headed
over.When she got there she saw 2 ambulances parked out front.She started to panic.As soon as she walked inside her eyes filled with tears.She saw the
most horrific sight that nobody ever wants to see. Duncan's lifeless body layed on his kitchen floor.Blood was everywhere.She saw the broken whiskey
bottle in his hand.She couldn't help but cry.In between sobs, she noticed a piece of paper laying on the floor next him.I had a drop of blood on it.She didn't
want to go near him but she did and picked up the note.

It read,"To the love of my life,The pain was to unbearable I couldn't live with myself knowing
how much you hated me and that I could never explain what really happened.I always told you I'd love you till the day I died.Well,This was the only way.I'm sorry - Love, Duncan Evans" Courtney just cried.

At Duncan's funeral later on that week,Courtney could barely even stand to look at him.All his cuts were covered up by makeup that the funeral home had
put on him.She stood at the side of his coffin.She had already went through almost 5 tissues.She would give anything to look into his gorgeous teal eyes
again.She just wanted to hear his voice one last time,hear him call her princess.She wanted to hear him say I love you just one last time.She reached over the side of the coffin to grasp his hand."I love you Duncan.I always have."She took her seat in the front row. The whole ceremony happened and it was time."Now by request of Duncan's girlfriend,we will be playing his favortite song"said the man who was hosting the funeral.The music started to play.It was their song.Courtney listened to the words of the song more than she ever had.After the song was over she couldn't stand to be in the room."I'm sorry,I have to leave"she said through sobs.In the cemetary,Everyone stood underneath their favorite willow tree.The very one he had asked her to be his girlfriend under.This was his burial place.Courtney could barely watch.All she wated was to hug him one last time,to kiss him one last time,to just say goodbye and I love you one more time.
