It was an Tuesday morning when I came in for my freshman year of high school. The halls full of our mascot, kids running around looking for their classes. I wore my black ripped jeans and light gray tank top. It was a sunny late August when I saw a brown hair, brown eye guy. His name was David Dobrik, he was fooling around with his group of friends.

It was always great to see his smile and hear his laugh. It gave others joy, the type of joy that had you longing to be his friend. Girls didn't know what to think about him. He was the cats meow, but he never touched one cat. Meaning he never dated any of the girls, at the most he was friends with them.

People thought he was gay for the longest time. I thought he was myself, but I soon found out later it was not the case. I entered into my home room class. Wondering where to sit knowing I was the only new girl in this school. No one normally came to stay in Chicago.

I was forced to come here because of my father's moving businesses. I sat along a black rectangular table that had room for two people. The second one never sat, which made me sigh in relief. I was more in the middle of the room. I saw the person I never thought I'd see again.

The funny David Dobrik, sitting with a few of his friends. I tried to not look back at him and his friends but they did leave me curious. The final bell rings and the speakers blazed with a man's voice. Our principal's voice echoed the room. Talking about what was going on with the school.

Blurring most of it out, I look back curiously to see David's face. Facing his friends while they made silly faces. I saw one of them pointing at me. I face forward blushing in embarrassment. I saw eyes on me, I kept my head down only to feel a hand on my shoulder.

I look up to see David Dobrik looking down at me. With his brown eyes I could tell that he had curiosity in them. I looked back at him nervously not knowing what to do or say. I was surprised that the teacher hadn't told him to sit down. Everyone knew goofy David Dobrik didn't listen to anyone.

" My friends saw that you were eyeing us. What's your deal?" Fuck dude...
