"Uh, she is. . ."

My body was trembling, I couldn't stand trying not to look nervous any longer.

Hedgehog stared at me with a hint of curiousity in her eyes---on the other side, Alexa gave me a grin and hoping eyes.

How could I answer such question?

Oscar stared at me. He looked nervous and worried. What if he already knew my crush by now? He might be able to tell who my crush was before my eye!

"Oscar! Oscar! I wanna be washed for the party tonight!"

Pajama yelled, it made him sounded bossy---which he wasn't.

"Pajama?!" Oscar replied nervously. "Now? Are you sure?"

The fussy little pajama made an act that looked like a nodding motion. Our poor elephant had no choice other than following the sweet pajama's order.

"Fyuh," I sighed as a relief. Of course, I made sure the girl didn't notice a thing.

"That was quick. And as sad as it is, we gotta end our fun game," alexa exclaimed. "Or we could have a teensy-weensy bit of seconds before we end this, you know? To know Max's answer."

"Yeah, that was quick and sad," I mumbled a farewell. "Gotta go, bye guys!"

I went out of the cabin quickly in a matter of seconds. I hoped that they wouldn't follow me home just to get the answer out of my mouth.

That was pretty close.

I sure was a lucky bat, I just wasn't sure of how long this will last. I hoped that it wouldn't be anytime soon.

"'Sup, Max, was the party going all good?" The cabin greeted me. "Pretty roof huh?"

"Rough? Right, that was some tough pun to construct wasn't it?"

He laughed out loud, about to shake the whole building.

"You know what?"

The cabin looked at me who was staring to the ceiling as I laid my back down on the bed, "what is it, kiddo?

"Do you think I can be as charming as Oscar in her eyes?"

"I am not her, so I can't tell much."

His voice sounded like the I-don't-care-at-all, yet at the same time he sounded like the guy that cared about me the most.

I sighed, "am I not good enough for her?"

"Chill down, kiddo. From what I see, you two might have a crush on each other without even noticing at all."

"Really?" I asked. My eyes sparkled with joy and hope---my mood might actually had been better by now.

A knocking sound could be hear from the door. "You might need to open it."

I nodded as I walked toward it. I tried to not looking nervous at all, but I didn't think it will work.

"Max, you hear me?"

I knew this voice. I clarrified the voice owner by one simple question, "Hedgehog?"

"Oh, um, hi Max!" She answered. "Yeah, it is Hedgehog. Alexa is here too, you know?"

"Hey, big boy!" Alexa added. "Won't mind the two of us getting in for a chill?"

I stared at the cabin nervously. I whispered to it, "what should I do?"

"Open the door," he whispered back.

"Right, you and Alexa," I replied with a hint of hesitation in my words. "What bring you here? Didn't we just meet like ten minutes ago?"

"Ehm, Max, you bassically leave Oscar's cabin as if somebody would murder you if you stayed there any longer. What had gotten into you?"

"Nothing, I just though of checking the golden league secret hideout entrance, ya know that it might be accidentally oppened by a random person?" I answered anything that came to my mind by the time. "You don't wanna meet an odd people playing inside it, do you?"

Alexa stared at me sharply. "But, Max, didn't we just check it together last night after the beach party discussion?" Hedgehog added.

"Twice better than once, ya know?"

I hoped that I didn't look suspicious. I hoped they just didn't pick up all the obvious clue I dropped by accident.

"Okay then, I and Alexa were just thingking to check on your well-being," Hedgehog smiled. "See you at the party tonight."

She was really an angel. Everybody could have been able to see the dark red hue of a blush spreading throughout my face and I still wouldn't mind as long as I was with her.

"Oki-doki, Hedgehog, see ya later."

I could hear Alexa coughing abrubtly behind Hedgehog, ruining the scene.

"Oh, and you too Alexa."

I might sounded rude. I didn't mean to, but I just didn't want the two most important girls for me feel betrayed---Alexa might thought I had a crush on her, while at the same time, I was in love with Hedgehog.

Hedgehog smiled, a faint smile could be seen in her face. Was she dissapointed---but what was she dissapointed for?

Was she jealous of Alexa?

She immediately leaved the two of us. Alexa grinned, "you don't like any girl but her, do you?"

"Wh-wha. . .?"

I knew she was jealous. I knew I always acted a little bit awkard and nervous around Hedgehog, and apparently she caught me off guard and noticed it.

"Don't lie, I know it," Alexa mumbled. She sounded almost crying. "Just so you know, I love you."

After she said those words, she tried to kiss me---but she didn't. Instead of giving up on my heart by giving me a first and last kiss from her and cried at her cabin, she snickered.

"You will be mine, sooner or later."

And with that she leaved me stunned. After a few minutes of awkardness, I could feel cabin sharp stare at me.

"Woah, lover boy, got girl problems?"

"Ugh," I groaned. "I ruined everything."

My cabin shown a nodding motion to show his approoval.

"But, I didn't like Alexa. I loved Hedgehog."

I blushed of the though. "The more I be with her, the more I need her. The more I know her, the more I am into her. She is smart, cute, pretty, and basically everything I ever wanted!"

"Calm down your spirit, kiddo."

It smiled. "Don't worry, if she was the one destinied for you not a thing will keep you apart."

"I hope you are right, I hope she isn't Oscar's."

"Talking about her, what if you started preparing to meet her?"

"Oh right, I have to prepare my pajama!" I quickly removed my clothes and took my pajama. "Thanks for reminding me, cabin."

"Sure thing, kiddo."
