Felica's Pov

"Aaaaaaalright" the semi-high pitched voice makes me jump as I snap out of my daydream she is my friend, Ashley the bubbly and loud friend of our group. I'm surprised we are friends from childhood since I'm the awkward silent one. We are so different yet we are like two peas next to each other. 

"Maddieeee" she shouts, "earth to Felica" she claps. Well, you might or might not know that my friends call me Maddie for no reason at all. "Sorry, I'm listening" I look up at her colorful head or should I say.. hair? Ash is the typical rebellious teenager who dyes their hair in the school bathroom and then leaves a mess.  I remember when she dyed my hair in seventh grade and since then she does my hair every single time. 

"It's the last year of high school so we have to kick ass this year you know" she opens a cold energy drink up as she muffles these words in the car. "I know, I know. I'm kinda surprised that we didn't fail from science because of Mrs. Ainsley.. daaamn she gave us so many F's " I express with a chuckle.

We pull over to the school and we are immediately greeted by our friend Jacob, the gayest person I ever knew, I mean I myself is Bisexual. 

A bear hug attacks me. Oh wow. "MADDIEEEE!!" the boy screams at the top of his lungs. "Oh wow and you won't hug me... hmph." Ashley smiles. "OH YEAH! ASHLEY!" he runs up to her and spins her around like she doesn't weight any. "I haven't seen two of you since summer and I'm so happy you are finally here," he says tooooo loudly "Calm down Jack.. you have too much energy, it makes me tired" I express with a calm tone. "Oh... sorry! I still can't believe how far away I was."

We all make jokes as we go to inside the school and there are too many people, yikes I hate when it's crowdy in the hall because I might run into- 

ack, I pump into someone please don't tell me it's- 

"Oh-- sorry I was in a rush" the soft voice makes me want to melt but.. wait- It's CONAN FUCKING ALEXANDER. 

I jump and I push him away. I realize what I just did fucking hell, I am so embarrassing. "O-oh!! No problem, I'm sorry I didn't look where I was going- I am very sorry agh-" I struggle to say a complete sentence as I'm looking down. "Hey, it was my fault you don't need to apologize for this jeez girl," he smirks that damn face is like an angel's and his hair is just like heaven, ginger and curly and it just makes me shiver if I think about him. He's perfect in any way, I know him since middle school. His family is rich, so of course, he is the popular guy in school but he's not like the other ones. He's actually kind and not a bastard who bullies you to death, but he has a girlfriend... the other popular person called Jacqueline she always bullies me for my hair because of wow, mine is not like her's. Like chill dude- me having white hair is not the end of the world. 

time skip

School ended, so we go get some coffee in the local little cofé near our school. I mean, it's regular that we go here after school, for me most likely, I always came here with mom and my sisters. I still do... but mom? It's hard to talk about it. Maybe once I will tell you, dear stranger.

I order a black coffee and a doughnut only. Again, I order these every time we come here. It's just the best. The bitter coffee with something sweet mixes together so well. At least for me. 

"Ok, I will go because I have to buy a new skateboard you know.. dad broke it because he had enough of me going out at 3 am" Ashley smiled as she quickly finishes her ice tea and croissant. "I will give you some money because I want one too" I give her like $60, I stole this money from my uncle this morning while he was sleeping. And he won't find out I'm sure, he will think he spent it on beer or something. "Okie Dokie Maddie, see you at 2 am and I will give it to you" her smile widens even more and of course I smile back. Jacob is just scrolling through Instagram on his phone. "Hey Maddie," he taps me on the shoulder. "Hm??" I look at him.

"Look," he shows me a photo of Conan and Jacqueline kissing. "Ew" is all I can say as my eyes light up with jealousy. Jacob sighs as I lock my arms together. "C' mon he seems happy with that bitch even if she doesn't deserve a sweet boy like him, you need to move on one day" 

"No shit Sherlock, yes he loves that snake ass bitch, but he will realize that she probably cheated on him with many dudes before. Because she stinks." I sip my coffee 

"You might be right, but let's go home, I'm tired... very tired also Ainsley's screaming made my ears hurt so I have to take a nap." he holds his head

"Alright dude, see you tomorrow or come to my house at 2 like Ash" we hug as he leaves the store and I pack my stuff. 

That was a very short day but I liked it until now it's good because of summer just ended. I hope everything is going to go this smooth, but it won't as always. But dreams might come true eh?
