As Mirage got ready for his match with Wraith and Bloodhounds debut in their squad. Feeling good about life, he had Wraith in his life and he was surrounded by friends. He didn't know what it was but having Wraith with him it boosted his mood. As he fiddled with his clothes, and he expected the usual teasing each other, annoying each other and joking together but including Bloodhound in these actions now. But when Mirage arrived Bloodhound and Wraith were already there giggling with each other. "Hey!" Mirage says enthusiastically. "Oh hello Mirage." Bloodhound says, "Yeah." Wraith says with an attitude. Mirage wonders what her problem is, he shrugs it off but we both know it's gonna be a lot worse, oh my god fuck Bloodhound, okay back the story.
They progress through the match, still the same grudge between Wraith and Mirage, so Mirage really starts to wonder what the problem is as she is getting along with Bloodhound just fine so there's 7 squads left and they're walking through the swamps and Mirage out of nowhere asks "Wraith?" she responds with no words just a moody face. "Can I talk to you for a sec?" He then asks, "Yeah what?" She responds. "In private" Mirage responds awkwardly. "Why can't you just say it in front of Bloodhound?" she says rolling her eyes in the process. Mirage sighs looks at the sky and then says "Wraith this isn't a joke now can I please talk to you?" He says with a bit more sass this time. "Ok ok oh my god." she says looking back at Bloodhound shaking her head in annoyance.
As they are a good distance away from Bloodhound Mirage opens with "What is your problem?" Wraith looks surprised "Problem?" "Okay. If you're gonna treat me like this that's fine, but one minute I'm kissing you the next well you're not even speaking to me." Mirage says with tears in his eyes. "Well I'm speaking to you right now aren't I?" Wraith responds sarcastically. "You know what fuck this, I could talk to wall and get more information out of it." Mirage says punching the rubble they're standing next to. "Mirage-" Wraith says in despair, but he's already walking away and he isn't looking back.
What is this feeling? Wraith asks herself. I thought I didn't like him, if I don't why do I feel like this? This feeling, is it regret or maybe guilt? She hurries back over to the group where Bloodhound is patting Mirage's back and nodding. She runs over "Mirage, it's not tha-" "We're done talking Wraith let's just get out alive, that's all I want right now." Mirage interrupts with. Wraith looks at him with sadness knowing what she did was stupid. As Bloodhound and Mirage walk away she stands frozen, in her feelings. She shakes her head and catches up, still in her head though.
They come across another squad as they approach Hydro Dam. Bloodhound go through two of enemies like they were insects waiting to be crushed. But Wraith stays back because she knows herself that she isn't focused enough. While the rest of the squad hunt down the last enemy with Bloodhounds tracking skills they're onto the enemies trail. Wraith is hiding in the house fiddling with her knife and she goes to look out the window and feels a gun at her head. "So you're Wraith the dimensional skirmisher? Well this is a bit disappointing." The stranger says. "Just shoot." Wraith says. Bloodhound see's the footsteps lead into the back of the building Wraith is in. Mirage notices Bloodhound look up at the open backdoor, Mirage sprints up the stairs to the door and as he gets halfway up and he hears BANG! A gunshot? he asks himself then he hears "Well that's another apex legend down now where's those other two?"
Mirage freezes on the stairs, as he hears footsteps come towards the door and he looks up to see this man :

"You killed her." Mirage whispers. "What?! Speak up!" The stranger shouts. Mirage starts breathing heavily, "YOU KILLED HER!!" He screams running at the man as he shoots the straight forward running Mirage. Then the blue hexagons appear. "No quips for that bamboozle Mirage? Did me killing Wraith really get THAT much under your skin?? Hah!" The stranger says cockily shooting at the ceiling of the roof where the real Mirage is. Bloodhound goes to pull out his gun and one of Mirage's clone grabs his wrist "This is my fight." It then says vanishing. The stranger then hops up to the ceiling where 6 Mirage's await him. He cracks his knuckles as his right pupil goes red. Whats up with his eye? Mirage asks. As all 6 of the Mirage's leap at him, he stands still scanning them then shoots 5 of them and hits the middle one with his alternator.
The 5 he shot turn the blue hexagons and the one he hit with the alternator hits the floor and his nose starts bleeding. How did he know I was the real one? Mirage asks starting to really worry. "I'd never shoot the real Mirage!" the stranger says. As Mirage stands up wiping the blood from his nose. "And you say that I'm the one with the quips, maybe look in the mirror" Mirage says while stretching his arm "Bring it tough guy." He then says dropping his guns on the floor. "You're that cocky Mirage?! Okay I'll make it quick then." he says chuckling "Oh it'll be fast don't worry, so you gonna keep barking or are you gonna bite?" Mirage says whit a grin.
The stranger lunges at him gun ready but catches himself and turns 180 where a decoy is and he goes to shoot but is hit on the back of the head by the real mirage before he can even move as his head thrusts towards the floor after the punch it's sent rocketing back upwards by the clone kneeing him in the face then he is thrown off the building by Mirage where he hits the floor. He opens his eyes to see Bloodhound looking over him and slitting his throat to make it quick. Mirage run's like his life depends on it back into the building where he stands frozen at the door. "Oh my god Wraith!"
