The three girls entered JYP Electronics separately and acted like normal customers. Kiya and Scarlet kept lookout while Blythe decided to try checking other floors. She was currently on the second floor which seemed deserted.

"Who are you?"

Spoke too soon.

Blythe was like a deer caught in headlights. She slowly turned around and met curious eyes.

"I was looking for the bathroom." Blythe just said the first thing that came into mind. She looked at the second guy and instantly recognized him. "Wait a second, you look really familiar. You were the one in the mirror!"

"Bambam what is she talking about?" The other guy asked whose name seemed to be Bambam.

"Mark run!" Bambam shouted. The two turned on their heels and broke into a sprint.

"HEY!" Blythe shouted, running after them. She cursed her body not being in the same shape as she was back when she was an athlete. "If I don't catch him I'm my pe teacher was right."

Blythe was not too far behind them but she couldn't close the distance. She skidded to a stop when they both entered the elevator, the doors closing quickly behind them. She took a moment to catch her breath and checked the floor they were going to.

She made her way to the stairs and made her way to the fourth floor. By the time she arrived she felt like passing out. She looked around, her vision slightly spinning.

Had they really gotten away?

Her hopes were brought up when she heard footsteps coming her way. She looked back but didn't get to see who it was as she was pulled out of sight. A hand covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming as the familiar person shushed her.

"I'll remove my hand but promise me you won't make a sound." Jackson said. Blythe nodded and he removed his hand. The two of them were hidden in a corner as a group of people in white lab coats walked by. Once the two were sure they were gone they both let out a heavy breath.

"You're the one I saw the other day." Blythe said, stating the obvious. "Who were they?"

"Really? You're using the earrings even after showing you that you shouldn't come back or use it? And you actually came back." Jackson scolded. "You came with two of your friends and you're putting yourself at risk."

"If you're going to be like someone I know and not tell me what the hell is going on drop the nagging act." Blythe was blunt. She was tired of talking to people who won't say explain everything.

"If you're talking about Chan you can't blame him." Jackson sighed.

"I won't give up because of Chan. I just need to talk to that Bambam guy but I can't find him. So if you excuse me— hey!" Blythe blinked a couple of times as she was slung over Jackson's shoulder. "Put me down!"

"I'll bring you to him, but you'll have to talk to our leader first." Jackson mumbled. He ignored her nagging and continued on as if there were no weight on his shoulder. He walked into the elevator and pressed basement one. Once they arrived, Jackson put Blythe down.

"Is that all of them?" A voice asked.

"Blythe oh my god you were caught too!" Kiya asked. Scarlet sat beside her, a confused look on her face.

"Take a seat and I'll explain." The same person said. Blythe did as told and sat beside Kiya. Jackson joined the guys who stood behind the person. "My name is Jaebum, but you can call me JB if you want. These are my friends."

"We met already." Jackson said.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Jinyoung."

"Kim Yugyeom."

"Youngjae."

"I'm sorry for being rude earlier. My name is Mark."

"Let's keep it simple and call me Bambam."

"Introductions aside, why are you here despite being warned by Jackson, Bambam, and Chan?" Jaebum asked.

"Because I want answers and no one is giving them to me." Blythe huffed. "And if you aren't either I'd like to talk to Bambam."

"I'll answer them. What do you want to know?" Jaebum said.

"Are you serious? Is there a catch?" Kiya asked.

"Don't give them ideas!" Scarlet shushed.

"Chan and the others are missing people but they're in the game. Why does it seem like they have a mind of their own?" Blythe asked.

"Because they're actually real people so they have a mind of their own." Jaebum answered.

"Elaborate." Scarlet said.

"JYP Electronics has been doing secret experiments, illegal if I may add. They're trying to find a way to keep the mind alive in technology even when the body is dead." Jaebum looked sadly at his friends. "We were the first subjects that failed. We were kidnapped and ended up being locked into the JYP building in order to hide the evidence."

"Memory loss, memory problems, slower reaction times, losing a sense." Mark added. "The only one who came out unscathed was Bambam."

"After we were discarded, they tried to find a new way to recruit subjects. They developed a phone that has an app that brainwashes the owner in order to let them come to JYP willingly." Jaebum sighed and looked at the earrings Blythe was wearing.

"They're given the same accessories your wearing. Those accessories connect your mind to the phone and further brainwashes you. It sends you into the game where there are suggestive hypnosis shit." Jackson explained. "Chan was with us before we were removed from the experiment. He remained aware of what was going on and tried to save the other boys but failed."

"And that's why he goes batshit crazy when Blythe is in the game. He doesn't want her to be taken in too." Kiya finished.

"Exactly." Jaebum said. "Have I answered all of your questions?"

"Can I go back?" Blythe asked. The question raised brows and widened eyes.

"Go back? Why would you want to go back?" Bambam asked. "I already removed you because Chan begged me to and he closed the app."

"I want to save them. I want to free them." Blythe answered. "They don't deserve this and need to be freed."

"The thing is, if it were that easy Bambam would have been able to. You need a password in order to free them from the machines down there. If you get it wrong they'll die." Jinyoung said.

"You're risking a lot here. What if you get caught?" Yugyeom asked.

"Game over at least I tried." Blythe muttered. "I can't sit still knowing this is happening to them. They're my friends."

"And one of them is your boyfriend." Kiya added. Blythe elbowed her, making the girl enter a coughing fit.

"Are you really willing to risk your life to help them?" Youngjae asked.

"If I weren't would I still be here? Look, if you're not gonna help then I'll find a way to do it myself." Blythe said.

"We'll help you." Bambam said. "I'll let you visit them to get more clues."

"Bambam!" Jaebum looked at the boy, shocked.

"We might as well give it a shot." Bambam said. "Follow me, I'll get you in. You guys can think of a plan right?"

"Be back in an hour." Jaebum sighed.

Blythe grinned and bowed. She was thankful to get answers and to have them on her side. She followed Bambam to a room with computers. He gestured for her to sit on the chair and hooked up some wires.

"Remove your earrings. I'll get you in safely." Bambam instructed. Once done, the girl took a deep breath and closed her eyes. The moment she opened them, she was inside a moving elevator. It was the same elevator she had been seeing. She stepped off and looked around for an exit.

Wait for me.
