Have fun reading this guys! And yes, I'm aware that Harry and Louis aren't actually the same age but it just makes sense for the story. :)))

Also show some love to Hands; I need some motivation! Haha, enjoy.

"Harry, baby, it's time for school!" Anne called from the kitchen. The small, curly-haired boy bounded down the stairs excitedly. Anne smiled brightly. Her little boy was starting kindergarten, and he seemed so happy for it that Anne couldn't help but feel ecstatic, too.

"Mum, am I gonna get new friends?" Harry asked, running up to his mum and pulling on her sleeve.

"Of course, but only if you're a good boy," Anne instructed her son. "Be nice to all the other kids, okay?"

"Yes mum!" Harry smiled widely.

"Oh Harry, there's the bus!" Anne pointed to the school bus pulling up near their house. "Gemma will help you find a seat and your classroom, right Gem?"

"Yes mum," said the brunette who had just come downstairs.

"You two have fun!" Anbe called as the sister and brother helped each other grab backpacks and shoes. "Good luck!" And they were gone.

Harry followed Gemma shyly onto the bus, watching all the seats he passed being taken by other kids who had been friends for years. He was starting to give up hope when,

"Harry, you can sit by this little boy," Gemma offers, and continues quickly down the aisle to sit by her friends.

Harry turns to the boy, who hasn't taken any notice of Harry, and clears his throat quietly. He snaps his head around, instantly spotting the shy kid. The boy scoots over, and Harry slides in next to him.

"Erm, hi!" Harry smiles, holding his hand out for the boy to shake.

"Hello," This new boy smiles a small smile. "I'm sleepy."

"That's an odd name, I'm Harry," Harry comments, his eyebrows drawing together.

"No, silly, I'm Louis! I just feel a bit sleepy," The new boy, Louis, giggles.

"Oh," Harry nods, understanding. "I'm Harry."

"You said that already," Louis giggles again.

"Oh," Harry blushes.

"How old are you?" Louis asks.

"I'm five!" Harry exclaims, holding up five stubby little fingers and grinning widely.

"Me too!" Louis squeals. "Are you in kindergarten, too?"

"Yes!" Harry nods. "Who is your teacher?"

"My mum said it was... Ha-ta-ta-ta-ta..."

"Hatatataton?" Harry scrunches his face in confusion, trying to remember the name.

"Hattleton!" Louis says.

"Me too!" Harry grins.

When the bus arrives at school, the boys get off the bus and almost get swept up in a huge crowd, but Gemma quickly grabs Harry's arm and Harry is already holding Louis's hand. The chain holds tight, and Gemma is able to pull them both next to her as they walk along the sidewalk.

"I'm Gemma, I'm Harry's sister," Gemma introduces herself to Louis. "What's your name?"

"I'm Louis," Louis smiles. The group walks inside the building and turns right down the younger kids' hallway.
