Maeriana had been ridding with her family and guard for a whole month before they arrived at their destination, Winterfell where her father's best friend resides and rules, the young raven haired princess riding in the carriage with a few maids, her step mother and her half siblings, "Are we there yet mother?" Tommen inquired for what seemed for the thousand time since they continued their journey after their brief stop, "I believe so my love." Cersei Lannister replied, smiling at all of her children, including her step daughter who she had grown to care about and love like her flesh and blood.

And truth was told, the carriage soon stopped and the Royal Family stepped out, the youngest first, then Maeriana  and then finally Cersei, the two eldest women who walked towards the ruling family of Winterfell, the Starks. Cersei instantly raising her hand at her husband's father's best friend awaiting him to welcome his Queen, which of course Eddard Stark wasted no time in doing so which was followed by his wife Catelyn Tully Stark.

Maeriana, of course, waited for her turn patiently but according to a fiery haired young Stark, the Princess could just skip the greeting of the Ruling Lord and Lady of Winterfell and skip straight to her, which was clearly understood by her inability to stand still and her focused eyes on Maeriana's figure. The Crown Princess's grey and white attire differentiating her from her family even more and attracting the eyes of another member of the Stark family.

Her family however seems oblivious to everything seen by the fact that Robert Baratheon stated "Take me to your crypt. I want to pay my respects." his booming voice makes Sansa jump a little and the Queen sigh dejectedly "We've been riding for a month, my love. Surely the dead can wait." however everyone knew that The King wasn't going to wait, so when he called for his best friend, the Lord of Winterfell went with him, allowing the youngest of the Stark girls to inquire to her sister "Where's the Imp?"

This question obviously embarrassed the Queen because she walked back to her twin brother and inquired "Where is our brother? Go find the little beast." which Jamie Lannister did without hesitation, "Mae! I mean Your highness..." Sansa squealed before lowering her voice and bowing and everyone else bowed at her as well, but once Sansa was standing straight the older girl walked to her and threw her arms around the ginger she hadn't seen in over a year.

"Let us adjorne inside." Catelyn said to the Queen who nodded smiling slightly and clearly in a fake way, the people began to disperse and Sansa and Maeriana detached from each other, "You really ought to control yourself a little harder." Mae laughed while she held the ginger's hands, "I could not, I've missed you too much." Sansa replied beaming back. "It is wonderful to see you again Mae." Robb Stark said opening his arms for the Crown Princess, who let go off her best friend to hug her friend and then the remaining of the Stark children, making simply eye contact with the bastard son of Eddard Stark.
