"is this okay?" the younger out of the two asked as he gently placed the cool towel on Taehyung's forehead, his eyes focused on his task of nursing his lover. "mhm" the elder replied, his voice barely a whisper.

He was laying down on the bed with his head on Jungkook's lap, and his eyes looking right into those round star-filled brown orbs right above him. Jungkook started to pat the towel lightly along his forehead, holding his hair back to make sure it doesn't get wet in the process. "you know you dont have to do this, angel. I can take care of myself" taehyung said as he watched Jungkook in both amusement and adoration. "Yes I do. You're sick, and I need to and want to, take care of you" he responded with a tone of complaint, through a little pout and his eyebrows slightly furrowed. "You're just the most precious" taehyung said through a smile.

"Bunbun?" he said, getting the younger's attention. "hm?" he asked. "can you sing for me?" taehyung asked, and he watched how the other's expression slightly dropped. "you want me to s-sing?"

"mhm" "but.. i don't sing" he replied. "i bet you have a lovely voice, please angel?" "i'm not sure..."

"just a little? for me, baby?" he asked, his eyes wide and hopeful. Jungkook looked up for a moment and thought to himself as he considered it. "okay.. just this one time though" he said hesitantly.

his voice was soft, calming, soothing. everything about the way that the pleasant vibrations of his gentle singing resonated through his ears made taehyung feel at peace. he was singing the lyrics to one of taehyung's (my) favourite song, jamais vu.

taehyung couldn't help but feel enlightened by the way jungkook closed his eyes when the gentle words left his mouth, the way his head would move slightly as the words danced their way out, and the way his fingers would tenderly caress taehyung's hair while he sang — which just so happened to make the whole scenario so much more endearing.

"please give me a remedy" he finished.

"you really are an angel, huh?" taehyung said as the boy stopped singing and opened his eyes to find the elder smiling so brightly at him.

his cheeks puffed up slightly as he smiled back shyly. "your voice is lovely" he whispered, his tone and facial expression just filled with so much love for this boy. "thank you" he said, his smile growing and a pink tint forming on his cheeks. "when you get better, it'll be your turn to sing for me" he said through a little giggle. "anything for my little euphoria" taehyung said back through his smile.

"one very special chicken soup for a very special human" jungkook said as he placed the said soup on a little tray, before placing it on taehyung's lap, who was currently sat on the sofa. "why thank you my little chef" he teased. jungkook took his seat beside him and watched as he tasted it. "how is it?" the younger asked nervously, hoping the last half hour of looking through recipes online wasn't a total waste. "it's delicious, thank you" he said, and with that, jungkook let out a wide smile, proud of his creation.

"baby, it's okay, i can manage" taehyung said, as he attempted to take the tray back to the kitchen to clean up. "no! i'll do it, you need to rest" jungkook said, enthusiastically taking the tray to the kitchen to wash up. as much as taehyung knew he didn't need to be babied like this, it was cute watching jungkook nursing him. it's usually jungkook who's the one being taken care of and being babied by taehyung, so it was both interesting and sweet to see jungkook try his best to take care of taehyung like this.

once jungkook returned to the living room, he saw taehyung standing up. "where are you going?" he asked through a pout, sudden sadness filling his voice. "i just need the bathroom, don't worry, i'm not going anywhere little one" he said through a smile as he patted the boys head gently before heading off to his destination.

"and then jimin accidentally fell down the stairs. although, it wasn't necessarily an accident because jimin wanted to know how fast he could fall down" jungkook explained, to which taehyung let out a chuckle in response.

for the past hour, the two had been laying beside eachother on taehyung's bed, with a reasonable distance between the two — as taehyung didn't want his little petal getting sick — just talking and telling eachother stories. what taehyung noticed, was that the jungkook beside him now is nothing like the jungkook he met almost a year ago. that jungkook was so reserved and shy, that had a stutter accompany his every sentence. but now, he's just spent the past hour talking nonstop to taehyung about anything and everything, and to say taehyung loved it would be an understatement. he just couldn't help but feel a strong sensation build up inside of him, that made him somehow, with every word the boy said, fall for him more and more, if that was even possible. he was just so enchanted by him.

he watched him with fondness in his eyes and a soft smile resting on his face as he continued to listen to his stories. in all honesty, taehyung forgot he was even sick because jungkook's presence made him feel so at ease and happy.

"make sure to sleep early, and drink lots of water!" jungkook very strongly advised. unfortunately, he can't stay the night because jin wants him home today for whatever reason, that being that they haven't spent a lot of time and jin wants to catch up with his little baby. "i got it petal" he chuckled, he couldn't help but coo at how adorable he was. "will i see you tomorrow?" jungkook asked, his voice and eyes hopeful. "maybe" he said with a smile.

"hey, bun" taehyung called out. "yeah?". "thank you, for taking care of me today. i had so so much fun, and you really made me feel a lot better" taehyung said. "it's okay, i'm glad i was able to do that" jungkok smiled shyly. honestly, jungkook wanted to kiss taehyung right now, and taehyung wanted to kiss jungkook. unfortunately, taehyung was still feeling sick so they'll have to delay it. so instead, jungkook decided to leave a little kiss on taehyung's cheek as his lips were currently unavailable, and he smiled shyly and left before his cheeks became embarrassingly more red.

hello! i hope you guys enjoyed reading this chapter as much as i did writing it ♡ i've been really stressed out lately because i have exams in a month! so i decided to write this fluffy chapter as a way to relieve my stress :)
