"SAVANNAH!" With a surprised gasp, the girl being yelled at lifted her head from the table as fast as possible. In front of her was the Math teacher, Mr. Kim who didn't look too happy. "Am I boring you to the point that you fall asleep in my class?""Huh.. oh no, sir. I just.. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night." She mumbled while fixing her slightly disfigured hair. She wasn't lying though, getting to sleep at a proper time and actually staying asleep was a problem she had for quite a while, but never brought it up.
"Well, don't go sleeping in my class when you're supposed to be learning. Don't blame me if you fail the summer exams." He sassed before walking back to the front of the class, with everyone else snickering at the poor girl in the back.
"I've been studying like crazy anyway, whatever result I get I'll be happy with it." Grumbling to herself, Savannah rested her hand underneath her chin as she tried her best to not fall asleep again.
Looking up at the clock that hung at the back of the classroom, her eyes widened when the time read 4:30pm. 'Holy shit, I slept through a whole class and most of the second one... Welp, I'm dead when Ms. Nam finds out about that', she internally whined with a pout on her face.
Ms. Nam was her Korean teacher who hated her for no reason, other than the fact that her favourite students were the school bullies. Savannah wasn't the best at Korean but she lived in the country so she felt the need to be able to know the language. It definitely was not an easy language to learn though.
She flinched when the bell rang but quickly packed away her things just as Ms. Nam walked into the room. Savannah did her best to hide behind the other students and get out of the room as fast as possible, but Ms. Nam had a very sharp eye. And a sharp tongue.
"Lynn!" Savannah knew she was the one being called out, being the only person in the school with a foreign name. "Come here." She hesitantly turned around to face her teachers, one with a scowl on their face. "Junmyeon tells me you've been falling asleep during his classes, hmm?"
"Yes ma'am. But I-"
"No 'but's!" She said, walking up closer to the young girl. "You've been doing this for over a month, you have no excuses to use. And not getting enough sleep the night before isn't going to work anymore. You'll be staying back until 6pm, cleaning up the school as a punishment for not listening in class."
"What? But.. no, I can't. My sister wants me home before 6 because of where I live. She'll kill me if I'm home afterwords." It would have sounded exaggerated if they didn't know where she lived, which happened to be a dangerous place that always had some kind of fight taking place. "Please, Ms. Nam."
With an annoyed sigh and a slight roll of the eyes, Ms. Nam put a hand on her hip and showed her best fake smile possible. "I've already contacted your 'sister', she's fine with it as long as you do as your told." She made sure emphasis on the word 'sister' to irritate the girl, which didn't work.
"Really? That doesn't sound like her though.." She was already suspicious, but she didn't like liars and just decided to believe her teacher. They were supposed to 'teach' her, so they couldn't be liars. Could they?
Without getting another response, Ms. Nam and the rest of the students left to go to after school activities or go home for the day. Savannah walked to the front of the class and set her bag down, knowing she would be there for a while.

"I'm... never... doing that... again." Panting heavily, Savannah lay on the floor of the gymnasium after cleaning up every single classroom that existed, including the very one she was in. It was a lot of work for someone who was still quite young, even though she had cleaned before.
