"Boarding flight number 312, boarding flight number 312" The airport speaker screeched.
"That's my flight," I sighed. "I guess this is it, I'm moving to Los Angeles. Everyone's big dream."
"Exactly!" Nikkie gushed, "Your moving to Los Angeles to live everyone else's dream!"
I quickly looked around, seeing everyone around me getting up for the flight.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now best friend," I sighed, starting to see tears form in my eyes.
"I guess this is goodbye for now. I love you so so much, don't forget that." Nikkie smiled, beaming her perfect white teeth.
I pulled her in for a big hug only to be cut off by the speakers saying, "Last call for flight 312."
"You better go!" She squealed, starting to laugh.
"I love you so much. I promise I'll be back soon!" I said while walking to the entrance.
Time skip to landing in Los Angeles
I silently woke up from being tapped.
"Excuse me, miss? The plane just landed and I didn't want you to be left on here!"
I slowly opened my eyes to see an elderly lady looking at me.
I quickly jumped up. "Oh my god thank you for waking me up!"
"No problem dear, it's a beautiful day in Los Angeles, go enjoy it!"
I smiled up at her and quickly grabbed my luggage and left.
We are so lucky that there are nice people in this world.
I went to luggage claim and grabbed the rest of my things and head out the doors. I took a nice, long look around at the beautiful city I was in. Before I came here, I was just in a small town in Minnesota. I remembered I had to find a way to my apartment so I quickly got an Uber and they drove me to my new apartment. I'm thankful to live in a place that even has Ubers, in Stillwater we didn't have any so this is new to me. We quickly pulled to a halt and I got out, thanking the driver.
Another time skip because I'm lazy
I just finished shopping and now I'm going back to my apartment. I already had my plan for the day. Go and make new friends at the beach.
I quickly grabbed my swimsuit out of my top dresser drawer and ran out of my apartment, towards the beach. And yes, I knew where I was going, I had google maps up.
Turn right. Now turn left. Go straight. Turn righ-- I just hit something really hard. I gasp quickly looking up. I didn't hit something, I hit SOMEONE.
