I sat in my car a few extra moments to mentally prepare myself for meeting my new roommate. We haven't formally met in person but have chatted online for quite a bit and from my understanding she was a girl named Alani, no criminal records, doesn't smoke weed, and is about my age. Nothing to worry about, right? I shook all bad thoughts from my mind as I started my car and began the hour and a half journey to my new home. I had most of my stuff there already as my brothers offered to move my stuff and I accepted, my other stuff was in my trunk, nothing but a few extra boxes of clothes and important pictures.

I sat on my bed, thinking about when my new rommate would arrive and realizing that I needed to clean the house before she came. She didn't seem like a bad person, actually really sweet, and her name was Lana. My age, and didn't seem like a killer, everything I needed to trust a new roommate. I smiled to myself, "A new roommate. I hope she doesn't hate me entirely..", I mumbled to myself as I sat up and started collecting the dirty clothes around my room. It seems as though most of her stuff has already been moved in by two guys who introduced themselves as her brothers, they had warned me to take care of her and "watch" her, whatever that means. I started my cleaning spree while singing to my playlist and forgetting about the visit from her brothers.
