Chapter 5

Taniya's POV:

I decided to walk to my house. The road was not that much crowd as morning. I sat on the iron bench placed in the footpath and looked the roads. The vehicles were roaring their life out to reach their destinations. Pedestrians were walking and gossipping to eachother. The evening vibe was really giving goosebumps to me. After some time I continued my walk.

As I am walking I can smell the aroma of cookies and pastries from street stalls. The beauty of London will seen after the sunset.

After 15 or 20 minutes of walk I reached my home. No one is here. Probably Ummi will be in hospital and bhai didn't came back from college. I thought to myself. I am very tired. So I went to kitchen and drank cold water.
There was nothing to eat. All plates were empty. I went to my room to freshen up. I took a warm shower and took ablusion for namaz.

I spread my prayer mat and prayed Asr namaz. After reciting some pages of quran, I closed it. I checked my phone, if any messages from bhai. But nothing was there. I went to the kitchen for making tea and bread sandwich.

I was toasting the bread when I hear the sound of door opening. It was bhai.
He came to the kitchen and hugged me. He is sweating and when he hugged me, I felt his sweatness in my body. I immediately pushed him.

"Uff... You are sweating bhai..
Go and freshen up, I will make tea for you."

"No... first tea then only bathing" he said by taking mug from my hand.

"Its mine bhai ... I will make you another one. Now go and take bath. Its really irritating your sweating body."

"Oh really!!" He came to me and deliberately hugged me to annoy me.

Yeah! His plan worked, I am really annoyed of his behaviour.

He left to his room and I started making tea for him. I was sitting in the dining area when bhai came down. He took a seat opposite to me. I pour tea in his mug and gave it to him.

"So, how was your first day in college Tanu?!?!" He asked while taking the mug from me.

"It was superb bhai... I met two girls and we become best buddies. And I met a girl from french class, she is a nice girl and she is friendly and I liked her company very much."

"Oh really... so I hope you liked your college and everything."

"Ofcourse bhaiyya. I really loved everything."

"Did you get any ragging there."

"No."

We both silently drank our coffee. None of us were talking, finally I break the silence and asked him.

"Which friend of yours were there in the morning?"

"His name is Azhal, my best buddy. I told you about him once."

"Oh yeah..I remember that he is your partner in everything and brother from  another womb." ☺I said smiling

"Did you saw him?"

"No."

"Oh okay."

"When will ummi return?"

"I don't know. Sometimes she will be late."
