It happens!

After the sword practice in arena, Connor and Travis got themselves engaged in preparing hot chili sauce for playing another prank on Demeter cabin tonight." this is going to be so much fun" Connor said ."yeah, they are going to be so pissed off" Travis grinned. he thought about Katie's face, her beautiful face made his heart flutter.

connor was about to say something when they heard a loud roar and some campers shouting." what was that?"Connor asked as he got up, looking at travis.they both quickly got out of their cabin to see Miranda, Katie's sister with a small bag of ambrosia, and a few apollo kids with a medic box.stolll brothers ran after them

 "what in Hades is going on? what happened?"Connor asks reaching behind them.

" a monster got hold of Katie near the woods, Ares cabin took care of it but it was late by the time they reached for he aid "an Apollo kid spoke "she is badly injured" he added.

"holy Hera!..gods of Olympus..travs.."Connor glanced toward his brother Travis, but he was long gone running to the woods. 

travis's heart was beating fast. really fast. he was breathing heavily by the time he reached to the edge. he gasped, his stomach dropped. he saw Katie lying on the ground, her hair and face covered with dirt, her skin burned around her hands and mouth. her jeans were ripped and there was a long scar along her neck.miranda was kneeling beside her, feeding her nectar, some Apollo kids were already healing her.

travis was finding it hard to breathe .he ran to Katie unable to speak anything.

 Mark -a son of Apollo, one of the healers-stood up, with a look of loss on his face "the poison is too strong we..we can not ...do anything "his voice choked.

travis's face was red with anger, he felt an ache in his chest 

"why was anyone was anyone at the guard ?!" he screamed .he took Katie's hand and with trembling voice he aid "no no no, this can't be happening, kat please "he held up her in his lap,  cradling her like fragile glass.

 he heard Miranda let out a sob .he couldn't hold his tears back, he smoothed back her hair and spoke softly

"Katie ..hey hold on okay? it will be fine, we'll be fine ..okay.please just don't leave me, okay, hold on".

connor was surprised as much as everyone to see Travis speak with such tenderness and that too to Katie,

 as he liked her.

 loved her.

 someone laughed in the group of demigods, travis turned to see as Piper and Percy high fived 

.." aw c' mon you dumbass go ahead tell her that you love her".

Travis felt himself blush, he was afraid if he actually was"me..what?".he felt Katie sitting upright, blushing, she was alright and grinning at him.

" so this was all a prank!?"Travis said and everyone laughed at him.

he turned to Katie"do you have any idea how.."

 he didn't get the chance to finish the sentence, Katie leaned in and kissed him, his anger melted and so did his heart. her put his hand around her face and pulled her close kissing back. 

 the kids cheered and left them for some privacy .the got apart, Katie touched his cheek and wiped off his tears

" I didn't know this would happen".

Travis smiled "well it did".

katie blushed, even such a mess she looked beautiful.

" you have to get used to being pranked on from now," she said.

 travis let out a small laugh"more than happy with it, but then you have to get used to being punished tho miss Gardner". 

she stood up "for that" she tapped his nose"Stoll dear you have to first catch me".

she ran laughing as Travis chased her across the camp half-blood.
