Passing time by reading my study books, I checked my phone where I got the voice message,
"Well since you both know each other how about we do Just_-you know what I'm just gonna use names. Taehyung your mission is next and Namjoon you have to come."
This is what I was contemplate this whole time. I decided to grab my shoes and my jacket, put them on and run to the location where I ran into Taehyung. I was so tempted to speak but I knew better.
Next thing I knew I was being gassed and fell asleep.
-
'Tales of murder
Tales of suicide
Reflect on these',
A strange letter in my hand
With these strange words.
On the back a bird of sorts,
A tattoo maybe.
It now was on my hand
That damn bird.
Glass shattered around me.Light.
-
I woke up hoping it was all a dream, but no. There, staring at me, laid the bird, now a tattoo. I tried to rub it off but with no success. I tried multiple time each with no success.
'That damn bird' was all I could think off before a voice over, what sounded like a speaker, started speaking,
"Hi Namjoon. Can you hear that? It's the sound of one of your friends calling for help."
Once this person stopped talking, I started hearing a phone ringing. I followed the sound which lead to a pay phone. It was covered with locks all around it. I look for a key, a way to get inside but the ringing stopped before I could get inside. I fell to the floor and looked at the tattoo and realized that it was spreading.
"Oh yeah, by the way, you need to complete a mirror maze before that tattoo spreads. Good luck."
'What? The? Fuck?!' Was my first thought, 'This isn't information that you forget to say', I entered the maze, I could see millions of myself but only one was the true me. I walked forwards bumping into a mirror. The first time you do a mistake you learn. I was now walking around hands out in front of me; I was now a walking zombie who, instead of brains, has a hunger for knowledge.
"You were not supposed to be here." I could hear the voice say. It sounded younger: the voice was squeakier than a man's voice, "You and Seokjin are good people well 'were'. Both of you did what you can say... minor crimes... well that's what the list show."
I bumped into a mirror as I was distracted.
"The tattoo represents the lasting impact you have on people. Good and bad. And the mirrors are for you to reflect. The bird... I honestly have no idea. Father choose it and didn't tell us why. He knows you guys more than you know yourself."
I bumped into a mirror again.
"This is morally wrong, you know. You are forcing people to do this!" I yelled while finding another path. I looked at my arm- 'Shit' I thought. The tattoo now spread all the way to my shoulders.
"If you think this is morally wrong remember that you guys had a choice to leave and honestly there are much less morally right games that Taehyung and Jungkook have experienced. Did you know they nearly killed someone?" That boy said.
Once again, I bumped into something, this time it was a door. I threw myself out of there. I looked again at the tattoo; It now nearly reaching my heart.
I tried to run home but all I could now see was darkness.
