Hana POV
I looked around the living room and noticed that Jungkook was gone, I walked to Jimin and Hoseok who were now happily chatting about something.
"I told you I was getting the hang of it." Jimin said which Hoseok replied with a smile. Hoseok seemed to have noticed me standing nearby, since he signed for me to come over. "Hey Hana, your back come over here." He said pointing at the space between him and Jimin.
I cleared my throat before I made my way to the couch and sit down beside them. Jimin greeted me with a quick wave "So what's going on I heard the two of you talk." I said turning to look at the two.
Hoseok signed for Jimin to do the word and so he did "I have been practicing something and I'm finally getting the hang of it." Jimin said proud, I was still confused since I didn't know what he meant with something.
"Why don't you and Hana train together tomorrow, I mean Hana didn't have much training to begin with and you can try and test out your new trick?" Hoseok said, which Jimin replied with a happy nod. It was nice to see him like that, I don't know much of Jimin, but I knew that he wasn't that much of a happy person or that is what I got to see. Even though with Hoseok he seems to be comfortable.
I nod my head almost forgetting to answer Hoseok's question. "Yeah, why not. I haven't used my powers much and I still have to learn a lot." I then said. Hoseok gave me a bright smile and then stood up from the couch "Great let's meet up tomorrow in the morning, I'm going to bed right now, I'm getting pretty tired." He said before he left the living room.
"But we still got to eat dinner!" Jimin screamed after him, but he was already gone.
Jimin and I were left alone and I noticed how he became more uncomfortable with Hoseok's department.
"So...." I started but then stopped not knowing what to say. It was weird for some reason and I thought it would be better for me to leave as well when Jimin cleared his throat suddenly, getting my full attention.
"Sorry if I make things awkward, I'm not used to spend time with other people beside Hoseok, most people find me rude because of the way I approach them, but I have a reason for that." He then said, ticking his fingers on the armrest of the couch.
"I don't think your rude, you can say some things that people would consider rude from time to time, but I never considered you as a rude person." I said, which made him smile, it was not a huge smile like he would show to Hoseok, but there was a smile and that made me happy.
He seemed to be hesitated about something, but then he started to talk. "I have been bullied when I was younger, since my powers hadn't shown yet. I came from a small village were all the citizens had powers except for me then. Kids at school started to make fun of me for the fact that I couldn't do anything and they started to use their powers on me, like I was there personal punching bag. I started to shelter myself from others. One day this kid in my class took me to the rooftop and started to threaten me to give him money, I told him I didn't have any money and then he pushed me of the rooftop. When I woke up, I was lying in the hospital, my parent were there and they said I had been in a coma for 2 year." Jimin said pausing for a moment.
I was blown away by all of the things he just told me, he lost 2 years of his life being in a coma and for what? Not having powers, what was this for world? "it must have been weird to go back to your life, right?" I asked him.
"Yeah it was since most of my classmates were almost going to college, while I was still in the same grade that I had been before the coma. Most kids started to gossip when they saw that I was back, while others didn't even acknowledge me being there. It was a new kind of loneliness that I couldn't describe, it was better when they attacked me, they gave me this attention that kept me going. But when they stopped doing that, I didn't feel like I excited anymore, I felt empty and I remembered going up to the rooftop standing by the edge to end everything. But before I could close my eyes and just let myself fall of the edge, did the door open. You know who it was?" he asked me.
I thought for a while before answering "The kid who threw you off the roof?" But I was wrong since Jimin shakes his head.
"It was Hoseok, he had transferred to our school a year ago and had noticed the way people had been talking about me. He got curious and had followed me up, his reaction was what shocked me the most he walked up to me and gave me a hug, his actions were so unfamiliar, and I was confused, but didn't do anything beside crying in his arms. It was a weird way to start our friendship, but after that day we became friends and were inseparable. He kept me alive, he made me feel like a normal student like I had a purpose in life." He said with a big smile.
The story about how the two of them met was beautiful but there was still something I was curious about, how did Jimin get his powers? "But how did you get your powers?" I then asked, he stopped with tapping the armrest of the couch and looked at the closet door for a few seconds.
"Remember the guy who threw me of the rooftop, I met him again one day. I was passing the crossroad when he suddenly turned me around. He asked me how I was doing and if Hoseok was treating me right. Then he said that Hoseok was only befriending me because he made a bet with him. He made me so mad and it wasn't helping that he was holding onto my shoulder as well. I grabbed both his arms and then he fell flat on the ground, it was the first time my powers started to work and I was shocked more like frozen since a few seconds later a truck was coming our way. I was scared and ran to the other side of the street, I thought that he would stand up and come this way as well, but he kept laying there on the ground while screaming for help, but nobody was there beside me. He looked me in the eyes before he got run over by the truck. I watched in horror at the side before me not realizing that Hoseok was standing beside me, I didn't know what he was doing there and how long he had been there, but I didn't care about that. I started to cry while he dialed 119, but it was already to late when the ambulance came, he was dead." He said with a shaking voice, I saw that his hand started to tremble when he was reminded by that day, I grabbed his hand and it seemed to have calmed him down a little bit since he continued.
"From that day on I was known as the guy who killed my classmate out of revenge, people feared me and were even more distant than before. I didn't dare to touch anyone, since I still hadn't figured out what my powers really were. After some time, I got a letter that I was accepted in IMISS High Hoseok got the same letter and we left town. At IMISS they told me that my power was to paralyze people for a few minutes, I started to control my powers but the fear of using them never faded away." He finished. He was still traumatized by it and I wouldn't blame him for it, he was cautious around stranger since they reminded him of the bullies.
Hoseok had been with him for a long time and he was the only person Jimin fully trusted. "You're strong Jimin, you have been through a lot and I don't blame you for being cautious around people, but know that we aren't like them, we are your friends and we got your back." I said with a smile while holding onto his hand.
"Thank...." Jimin started but got cut of by the sound of someone clearing his throat right behind me. I let go of his hand before I turned around to look at the person who had interrupted our conversation.
It was Jungkook, he looked at Jimin before he looked at me. I noticed that Lay had built something else for Jungkook's legs, since they still hadn't health properly. He was also walking with crutches.
"We are going to eat, please wake Hoseok up and come to the dinner room." He said looking at Jimin. Jimin nods before he walks out of the room, I stand up as well before helping Jungkook get to the dinner room.
"So what did Lay say?" I asked him while we walked to the dinner room. Jungkook sighs "I have to walk 2 weeks with these and then he's going to check on my legs again, since they were smashed by a pillar and I didn't get treated by a professional, is it going to take longer for them to heal." He said.
You could see that he had difficulties with the crutches and moving around and the side kind of reminded me of the second time we had met. Back then he also showed how vulnerable he really was and I could see it now again.
When we got to the dinner room, we grabbed a seat while waiting for the others, when everyone was there, we started to eat in silence. Baekhyun didn't wake up that night what surprised me a little bit, but maybe he would wake up tomorrow. We just needed to keep on hoping that he would.
