✨Never Let Go✨

A New World

My eyes are still locked on this girl. She seems so familiar, yet I have no idea where on earth I know her from. I can see she's nervous, and I am too. I feel like we've met somewhere, some place. I just can't put my finger on it.

Everything around me suddenly blurs out, and all I can see is this girl. I focus on her dark blue eyes, her flawless hair, her pastel pink clothes. I can't take it any longer. I shut my eyes, and so does the girl. I can feel sunlight on my face, and when I open my eyes, I'm in a totally different place.

All I can see is this girl. Everyone that was surrounding us is gone. Divinia is gone. The fountain is gone. Everything is gone.

"My name is Oracle," the girl says.

"Oh, um, hi, I'm Sierra," I say nervously.

We stand in silence, until I speak up, asking Oracle where we are.

"I don't know," she says. She pulls out her phone, then gasps. I watch her out her hand over her mouth and her eyes dart around in fear.

"What?" I ask. "Where are we?"

Oracle grabs my hand and pulls me behind a nearby tree.

"Where are-?" My voice is cut off by Oracle's hand covering my mouth.

I try to pull her hand away, but it's no use. Then, suddenly, I hear a loud cackle coming from outside of the small forest Oracle and I are standing in. I stand up in my tip toes and try to get a glimpse of what is happening outside the forest, but before I can get a good look, Oracle pulls me deeper into the forest.

"We're in a dangerous land. This is a place only meant for evil. It's where all the most devilish people go when they've committed a crime," Oracle explains. "But you'll meet plenty of people who don't belong here. They've either ended up here like accident (like us) or purposely came here, not knowing what the consequences would be. I read about it in Science class."

"The evilest people? Why are we here? What about my parents? My sister...? I miss my sister so much..." I feel my throat hurt, and tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Hey," Oracle says so me, her expression softening. "It's okay, we can figure it out together."

I nod, trying to believe her even though I don't want to. "I-I, where, why are we here?"

Oracle shrugs. "We're special, of course!"

"Yes, VERY special!!"

We both laugh together. It feels nice to smile, after all of this. Meeting Oracle, ending up in a new world, not knowing anything about it...

Oracle and I stand together, in silence. It feels calm, even though anything could happen at any second, it's relaxing, and nice.

"SURREEE YOUR NICE!!" I hear a faraway voice say.

I crouch onto the dirty floor, and see the shoes of two people. One of the shoes is the pastel high tops I have been dying to buy, and the other are the bat mo heels, in bright pink.

"Yes, I am nice, actually!" I hear another voice say.

I grab Oracle's hand, and pull her. We run out of the forest and see the two girls that were previously talking.

"Hi! I'm Pastel Oceon. You can call me Pastel."

"Hi, I'm Regina Butthead. My daddy owns the Butthead hotels, the most POPULAR hotel EVER. You've probably heard of it."

"Umm hi Pastel. And um, Regina Butthead?" Oracle says, shaking the two girls hands. I do the same.

We start to talk about our interests, how we got here, where we came from, etc. Then, all of a sudden, I hear the clicking of high heels coming closer to us.

"YOU GIRLS SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOME 2 MINUTES AGO!!" A shadowy, dark figure says.

I can't see what this figure looks like, because their wearing a hood down to their chin, and a cape down to their toes.

"Sorry!! Me and Regina were, um, talking about, um, homework."

The shadowy figure ignores Pastels comment and turns to Oracle and me.

"Oh, we have guests. Why don't you girls follow me?" The shadowy figure cackles and motions for us to follow her.

We do, reluctantly, and turn to look at each other. Oracles face is scared. So am I. I don't know where I am, who I'm with, or why I'm here. All I know is, this isn't going to end well.
