PROLOGUE

Audrey PoV

I came down from my car. The new car my wonderful husband got for me on my birthday last month. It was a 2011 Range Rover. My baby can take wherever I wanted to go to. I went to the trunk and took out some stuff I got from the market, I was gonna make his best dish.

I got inside our big mansion.

Have I introduced myself yet? Oh sorry ,lack of manners.

I was Audrey Peters...now I'm Audrey Rodriguez....the one and only wife of the big,hot,rich,handsome,smart business tycoon in the whole of California. Cade Michael Rodriguez. My crush who later turned to be my boyfriend now my husband. We are meant to be.

Though I'm still young,and my friends and family thinks its too early to get married. I'm just 20 and Cadey is 24, we've been dating for 10 years, yep. I've had a crush on Cade since I was seven, I bless the day dad introduced me to him,during his promotion party. You see, Cade's dad and my dad were business partners then,so that night we met. When all things became beautiful was when Cade transferred to my school,I never hid the fact that I liked him,and well we started seeing each other three years later,when I turned, ten and he was fourteen.

And now I just finished college,and Cadet took over his dad's company. He proposed and of course I accepted and I bet you married life have never been better. We are wonderfully paired fro each other. And I can't wait to tell him the good news I just found out this morning.

"Welcome maame." One of the maids Nichole, greeted immediately I entered grabbing the bags I carried.

"Is Cadey back yet?" I asked cheerfully moving to the kitchen as well, that nickname can't seem to slide out.

"Yes ma,but he's been upstairs alone,and I think something is odd ." Nichole retorted.

"Odd?" Maybe its work. "You know what,get the foodstuffs out of the bag and start ahead,I'll join you later." I instructed her,going upstairs.

Work can be really stressful sometimes.

I went to our bedroom,he wasn't there,so I checked in this study room. I knocked once,twice,thrice no answer.

I wish I never opened that door.

My husband's always neat study was beyond rearranged. Everything were in shambles,as if two lions had a riot. Broken arts,vases,statues,even his favorite artefacts.

"Baby....what the hell happened here?" I asked quickly moving inside the room. "Are you hurt?" I tried going near him,but he just moved back.

"Baby,what's wrong? Is it work?" I tried reaching out to him,but the push I got nearly knocked me on the floor.

"Don't you fucking touch me!!" He suddenly barked out.

Cade has never shouted at me like this. We dated for 10 years before we got married last year,all these 11 years of knowing him, my cade can't shout at me like this.

"After everything I did for you. I made sure you never lacked. I even groomed your family!!I gave you everything." He said bitterly shaking his head.

What's going on?"Cadey......"

"Keep shut Woman!" He screamed at me again. I flinched at the harsh tone.

"Look behind you, see those pictures? Take a look at them." He said calmly. The calmness feared me.

I looked behind me and saw pictures scattered on the floor.
I picked them up and what I saw made me gasp. I was speechless. This girl in the picture really looks like me.
But it isn't me .

The girl was having an intense sex with Jackson.....Cade Personal assistant.

"Oh God no!! Cade it's not me....."

"Then who is that??huh Audrey!!!who the fuck is that if it's not you Whore!!" He screamed again.

My eyes pricked. He called me my name,he called me a whore.
Cade has been been deceived. Oh God please

" Cade you need to listen to me....its photo...."

"I want a divorce." He said,silencing me.

The four words I dread. No no!!

"No...you can't. Cade don't do this,you need......"

" You need to leave." He said calmly....too calmly that it scared me.
" I've discussed with Attorney James. The divorce papers are in process. I can't do this with you,Audrey. You're a lying disgusting slut!."

"No, Cade I still love you, you love me,you can't do this!! What is wrong with....."

"Get Out!" He yelled, now moving towards me with hate.

"Cade please....."

I was still talking when he harshly pulled me up from where I was rooted and pushed me out of his room, making me to bang my head on the wall. He didn't care. He didn't even react. He didn't flinch.

"I don't want to see you here,when I come out. Leave with the car,with your bank accounts,anything just leave!!" Then he closed his door.

He didn't trust me enough to believe me.
Cade didn't let me tell him that we are having a baby.
He didn't let our love grow past rumours and evil plots.

Its finished.
