Here is a story written by

You, Sam, and Dean went on a hunt. You were planning on defeating a couple of demons and calling it a day. Just like always. But this time was different. You got stabbed, and there was no way of saving yourself.

~Flash-back~

I’m feeling a bit sleepy,” you said softly drifting away from reality.

“No baby, stay awake, please!” Dean pleaded.

“It’s just so hard. It hurts too badly.”

“I know, stay with us! Stay strong like you always have!”

“I-I know I haven’t told you this but I love you Winchester, I-I always had.”

“I love you too Y/N! Our story isn’t over yet!” Dean shouted.

“I know but it was bound to end someday.”

“But not today!”

“Just please, if I die, I stay dead, don’t sell your soul. Please don’t. And move on. I don’t want you to waste your life. Date.”

“I can’t. And you aren’t going to die, I refuse to let it happen!”

“I love you Dean,” you said wiping his tears.

“I love you too.”

He gave you a sweet and passionate kiss to top it off.

“Before I go, here’s my ring, you know how much this ring means to me. My dad gave it to me before he died. Keep it. It’ll remind you of me. If anything ever goes wrong, just remember me to calm yourself down,” you said handing him a ring with a yellow stone in the center of it.

“I will Y/N, I promise.”

“Stay with me! Don’t die! I can’t live without you! You’re the love of my life, I can’t lose you!” Tears were now streaming down his face.

“Why didn’t I tell her I loved her sooner? I’m such an idiot!”

Sam placed a hand of Dean’s shoulder and said, “No you aren’t. None of us saw this coming.”

“I should’ve! I should’ve been there for her! But now it’s too late! Maybe I can bring her to the hospital, maybe she isn’t dead yet!”

“Dean,” Sam said, “I’m sorry but, she’s... gone.”

He sat and sobbed, he couldn’t believe this was happening.

~End of Flashback~

After that, the boys went home with your  lifeless body in the backseat. Dean sat right next to you and he passed his fingers through your hair and sobbed. You were gone.

They finally arrived home and heartbreak filled the room. Dean carried your lifeless body and laid it flat on your bed. That’s when he finally broke down in tears, “This can’t be happening! This can’t be happening!” Sam ran to him to comfort him. “Dean, it’ll be ok, we’ll get through this.” “I can’t get through this. She’s dead. She’s gone forever.”

Sam had to deal with the loss of one of his best friends and his research buddy while Dean had to deal with the loss of the love of his life. “It’ll be better, I promise.”

Sam stuck around with Dean comforting him and letting him know that it’ll get better someday, but, Dean wasn’t in a good enough condition to care about what Sam was saying.

That night, Dean drowned his sorrows in alcohol. Beer, whiskey, you name it. He cried a river and slept next to your dead body. He cherished you so much but he thought he didn’t cherish you enough. It was hard, to say the least.

The next couple of months were the hardest. It was filled with alcohol, sorrow, and pain.

It’s been an exact year after your death and hunting wasn’t the same without you. Sam and Dean missed you dearly but they knew they had to move on. Dean visited your grave everyday as soon as it’s been buried. He couldn’t bring himself to burn your body up.

Since it’s been an exact year since your death, he visited your grave once again. He set a bouquet of flowers and said, “Hey babe, it’s been a year without you. It’s been so incredibly hard. I miss you so much. I don’t know how the hell I’m still alive without you. I should’ve told you that I loved you sooner since I’ve loved you ever since I laid my eyes on you. Sammy and I are planning on moving away from here, the pain and the guilt is all too much for us to bear. Uh, that’s all I guess, I love you. Good bye forever Y/N.”

Dean suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and he thought it was Sam. So when he turned around and heard a female voice, he recognized it. His heart practically stopped. He looked at the woman in awe. It was you. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. You mouthed, “Bye,” and vanished within the blink of an eye.

Dean teared up a bit and walked away to the Impala where Sam was waiting. He looked down at the ring that you gave him and he felt calm. He finally felt like moving on.
