"So buddy y'all looking forward to getting back on the road" Jason asked me as he handed me a beer
"Hell yes, between me and you Caroline is doing my head in" I laughed
"I knew as soon as I seen your reduced schedule I said to Brittany he ain't going to like that he is going to be bored" he laughed
I wasn't exactly bored I just like to be kept busy and Katy is in my god damn head, I think I just need to get her out my system and if that means fucking her then that's what I will need to do.
"Yeah plus I have the live shows for Idol coming up which I looking forward to"
I knew by the look on Jason's face that he was about to call me out on the whole Katy thing.
"So what's with you and Miss Perry" he asked
"What do you mean"
He looked at me like I had two heads
"Don't bullshit me Luke you forget I know you. I'm surprised Caroline ain't called you on it, that's maybe why she is being pissy with you"
"We are just real good friends" I smirked
"Keep telling yourself that. Just a word of advise be careful I wouldn't like to be on the wrong side of Caroline" he laughed finishing his beer and handing me another
After a good to many beers I was in no fit state to drive, so I called Caroline and told her I was staying over at Jason's and I would be home in the morning and as you can imagine that conversation did not go down to well.
The next morning as I drove home with the hangover from Hell Kerri called me,
Kerri : Good morning
Me: Hey
Kerri : I hate to do this but I just got a call from Idol and they need you in LA tomorrow for a photo shoot and interviews
Me : That's no problem, send me the flight details and I will see you in LA
Kerri: Will Do. And good luck breaking the news to Caroline. Bye
Telling Caroline about this added thing is going to make her and as hell but on the upside I get to see Katy and hopefully we can cleanse one another of whatever this attraction is.
