Ax's PoV

Feeling Atticus let me go, I fall to the ground, a string of pains vibrating throughout my body. Pain and disorientation swirling around in my head "What's happening! I need to go to the hospital, Atticus!" I shout as I curl up, he looks around uneasily before grabbing me and throwing me over his shoulder.

Hearing him enter somewhere, I then feel him drop me on a table "It's happening isn't it?" Atticus says, scowling I lean forward "What's happening!" I shout, unaware of the colour of my eyes as they are squeezed shut "The binds on him have broken. I'm afraid he's going to have to be taught now." Sitting up I growl at the pain as my mum and dad come into view "Mum! Dad!? What the hell!?" I shout, going to stand, I look down to drop off of the table but stop when I notice the claws emerged from the tips of my fingers "W-what..." I whisper, looking back up to them, Atticus smiles weakly.

"welcome to the supernatural world, Axel..." My father says slowly, my hands physically shaking as I hold them up "W-WHAT!?" I shout, my mum raising her hands as claws emerge and her own eyes glow bright yellow "We're werewolves honey... just like you... don't worry, your not alone..." she says slowly, looking to Atticus who just glows his eyes blue "Nope!" I shout as I jump off of the table, walking towards the door with my hands up "I get it, i got drunk at the party, I'm hammered right now." I say with a pitiful laugh, my mum grabbing my hand, sinking her right index claw into my hand I wince as I pull my hand back "Your awake honey. And you heal like a werewolf." She says as she holds my hand up revealing there to be no scar where she dug her claw.

Sitting on the couch, my elbows rested on my knees as I stare at the three opposite me "So... everything is real. Werewolves... vampires... wizards... witches.... don't even try to tell me dragons exist...?" I say slowly, my mum shaking her head "Dragons aren't real.." she smiles weakly, inhaling I close my eyes "And why didn't you just tell me?" I ask, glancing to Atticus who looks nervous "There was a bind put on you and your supernatural powers, making it appear as though your human. Your powers were too great for you to handle but it seems you are ready to handle now. If we told you back then, the bind would break due to your knowledge." My father explains, nodding I scratch my jaw as I look down "These impulses you'll get... are your wolf trying to get out. You need to learn to control yourself, especially on full moons. The responsibility of being a supernatural creature is tough to learn, but you will. Atticus will teach you." My mum says as she looks to the blue eyed werewolf who looks to her in shock "But, Ma'am, I'm only an omega. Shouldn't a beta teach another beta." He retaliates, tilting my head I scowl "He's your best friend and your his. You know relationships are key in wolves." She says, Atticus nodding slowly.

Of course I couldn't get any sleep after Atticus left, he still looked nervous but it was about teaching me control or whatever. I just lied in my bed, my right arm rested behind my head using my bicep as a pillow, my left hand brushing left and right on the left side of my bare abdomen "A werewolf. Beta and omega... what." I breath to myself.

Looking up at Atticus who's stood by his locker sorting through his books, going to walk over to him I drag my foot back just as Artemis steps in front of me "Watch out, Adler." She says in a stern voice, her eyes giving off a inquisitive vibe "I was watching out. Why wasn't you?" I return, her eyebrow arching "It's day one and you two are already clashing." Looking to my side at Michayla, I tense "Axel, I've known you since kindergarten, please don't repeat what happened last time you clashed with someone." She says, inhaling I look down "Have you been taking your medication?" Edward asks as he appears out of nowhere "Yeah! I have. It's fine. I'm fine now." I mumble, looking to Atticus who's spotted me now I inhale before straining a smile "Thank you for the concern,'I'll be going." I say casually before walking towards Atticus who grabs my shoulders and directs me to the stairwell.

Standing opposite him, he folds his arms over his chest "Okay, so I have two free periods after lunch, do you?" He asks, nodding I tuck my hands into my pockets "Well, I'll come and find you and we'll go somewhere more... efficient and protected then here." He says as he looks around I nod "Are you okay?" He asks, shrugging I clench my jaw "I mean... it's all a bit overwhelming." I murmur, watching him nod he shakes his head "I can't imagine what your going through, Axel. Your power was hidden from you. Us born-blood grow up learning everything." He says, closing my eyes I lean backwards against the wall "You'll learn. I'll make it my top priority." He says confidently, smiling slightly I nod.

Sitting in biology, I rest my jaw in my hand lazily, Mrs Taylor turns to the class with a smile "Turn to the person sitting behind you, that's your partner for the project!" She says happily, sighing I turn around lazily, my eyes half open before shooting open as Artemis comes into view "Ah crap." I mumble, her emerald eyes already burning a hole into me.
"so each partner will do research, full scale, scientific research on anything to do with biology. It can be to do with cells of the human and plant life, The anatomy, Genetics, pathology, whatever you and your partner decide upon. The project is due in a month and a half." Mrs Taylor says.

Gripping the side of the table I close my eyes as Artemis leans forward "The anatomy. Specifically the brain." She says, looking to her I nod slightly "Yeah... that's cool." I mumble, flinching i look up at the door, Atticus peeking in I scowl "Uh... Mrs Taylor can I be excused for the restroom?" I ask as I stand, she nods and goes back to talking with a student, Artemis' gaze never leaving my back as I exit the room.

"what's wrong?" I ask, his brows furrowing "Dude, I could feel your anger rising, what's wrong?" He retaliates, exhaling I shake my head "Oh no, it's fine. I've been partnered up with that new girl, Artemis and I'm pretty sure she hates me for no reason." I explain, Atticus scowling as he grabs my hand and holds it in front of me, fast healing claw diggings in the palms of my hands with blood surrounding them "Just think of something that calms you down when you feel yourself getting angry." He says softly, shrugging I scratch my jaw awkwardly "I mean... it's kind of hard when your as unpredictable as me... my medication doesn't always work Atticus." I murmur "You having IED will be such an advantage when you learn to control your powers. You'll be angrier, and an angrier wolf, is a stronger wolf." He says with a smile, nodding I sigh "Now get back in there and deal with this girl who hates you for no reason." He says happily, smiling I nod.

Returning to the desk, I look to Artemis "So... is there a reason you keep glaring at me...?" I ask after a moments silence, she looks to me and tilts her head "I'm not quite sure yet. But when I find out, you'll be the first to know." She says, clenching my jaw I nod, damn this girl was crazy... "So, your not going to try and kill me through this project, right...?" I ask carefully, half joking, half serious - her eyebrow arching "Again, I'm not sure." Swallowing a lump in my throat I look down at the textbook on the human brain.
