It starts out at a young age for us and what I mean is picking our mates that is.I was ten when I saw him for the first time.The world around us seemed to slow down around us but before I could ask his name,he ran off leaving me to my lonesome.I had never felt drawn to anyone before,The normal age for pairing is seven years of age but the elders said that my mate hadn't reached the pairing age yet but in think he just did.Quickly I ran after the boy;the loud bells around my ankles drew the attention of those who were passing by.

As I ran through the crowd I could see less of him I started pushing harder to get to him.
"STOP!"I yelled and everyone steps aside so I could run to him but...It was too late,I lost him...But that didn't stop me i kept running in the direction he went.I never chased after anyone,not even my siblings.I follow him to the middle ring of the upper class walls but he was stopped by lady Jindal a caretaker for orphaned gypsy children.
"Where were you!"

"S-sorry...I was-"She rose her hand then strikes him and I freaked out!
"WHO IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRIKING HIM!?"

"M-My lord!"

"How dare you strike a child in your care!"My loud voice drew in the attention of others as I rushed over and pulled the male from her as he held his reddened cheek.

"NO!You dare abuse someone who depends on you.Guards take her away,she has committed a crime in the gypsy kingdom."I turned to face the boy.

"Loki...May I ask why you saved someone like me?"I smiked and kneeled down while holding his hand.

I woke up early to pamper Loki as usual;Draw nice hot scented bath water,breakfast in bed,etc.

"Mhh,Oh morning~"I placed the tray down before he jumped from the bed to hug me.After that we ate breakfast peacefully in my room but as to eating in the dinning hall is quite annoying at times,I truly enjoy eating alone with him.
