Pov: Alice

It's been six years after I was born and also six years after my parents died. I think they died because of me. "Mommy and Daddy didn't like me" I whisper to myself while I start to cry in my bed. I live with my uncle Kouta and auntie Yuka, Nana and Mayu. They won't tell me about what happened to my parents all they just say is that I look them.

I have a mix of pink and magenta hair from both my parents and my daddy's blue eyes but when I get mad or sad they turn a pink color like my mommy's. They say that I also have my mommy's face and my daddy's smile which makes start to cry when thinking about it because I never got to meet my parents. I only see what they look like in photos that uncle Kouta keeps in my room because it belonged to them before I was born.

"Are you up Alice?" I hear auntie Yuka ask while she knocks on my door. "I'm up auntie Yuka" I tell her as I get up from my comfortable memory foam bed. Auntie Nana bought it for me for my 4th birthday and it was a little big at first but now that i'm bigger it is the perfect size bed. "We will be going some place special with uncle Kouta so get ready okay" I hear auntie Yuka tell me before we went down the wooden hallway into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Every year on my birthday auntie Yuka makes pancakes, eggs, bacon and toast so we all get full because we then spend some of the day having fun until lunch. When it's time for lunch we always go to a restaurant that they let me choose and we all have a nice lunch. We then spend time at the beach playing in the sand, swimming and just relaxing in the sun. One thing I am happy about is that I was born in the summer so it is always sunny.

I went to my closet to get my clothes and always froze when I opened it. The reason why I freeze is because there is an old box full of my parents clothes in there and it always make me think of them. When I think about my parents I always thin of them killing themselves at the sight of me which makes me cry. "Mommy Daddy i'm sorry I caused you so much pain" I say while curling u in a ball and crying even more.

When I was crying I felt a hand hold my back. "What's wrong Alice?" I heard uncle Kouta ask me. "Mommy Daddy" I whisper to him before feeling him hug me. "It will be okay Alice don't worry" uncle Kouta tells me in a calm voice. "Let's get aunt Nana she'll help you get ready okay" uncle Kouta tells me while I nod and get up.

When we opened the bamboo door we saw auntie Mayu walking outside and we also see auntie Nana walking towards us. "Happy birthday Alice" auntie Nana tells me. "Thanks" I say while wiping my tears. "Nana can you please help Alice get ready?" I hear uncle Kouta ask.

Auntie Nana agrees to help me and we both go into my room to get my clothes. "Let's get you ready" auntie Nana tells me while she finds a black dress that I never wear. "You seem sadder than normal is there anything I can do too help?" auntie Nana asks. "I'm just thinking of mommy and daddy again" I inform her while I get the dress on.

"I never had parents either" auntie Nana told me while she was grabbing mommy's light blue bow to wrap around my head to cover my horns. "What do mean you had no parents?"I ask her while she ties mommy's ribbon around my head. "The only parent I had was from a lab where I was born and raised until I met your mother" auntie Nana told me while she finished tying the ribbon.

"Let's go eat okay birthday girl" auntie Nana tells me while opening the door for me to exit out of. When we left my room we went through the long wooden hallway until we made it into the dining room where uncle Kouta, auntie Yuka and auntie Mayu are waiting. When we sit down we all start eating and having a good time talking about things we did in the past and what will happen in the future.

After we all finished breakfast we washed the dishes that were now covered in maple syrup and bacon grease. "Is everyone ready to leave?" uncle Kouta asks while we all nod our heads and head out through the peaceful garden. While we were walking I asked auntie Yuka if she knew where we are going. "Of course I know where we are going so don't worry about it okay" auntie Yuka replied before hearing uncle Kouta tell us "were almost there"

I was so confused on where we were going until we finally got there which was about a twenty minute walk from home. When I looked at where we were I started to cry I didn't want to be here at all but I am hoping that I will learn something. Everyone was silent when we stepped in and we were all shocked at the worn down stones. We silently made our way through until we stopped at two worn down stones. "Mommy...Daddy" I whispered while seeing their names on the graves.
