Alone

Chapter Four

Pov: Alice

It took us a little while to get home because it started to rain and that means the cement steps that lead home are now slippery from the rain. When we finally got home uncle Kouta and auntie Yuka were waiting for us. "You scared us so much Alice just like your mother would" uncle Kouta told me while I started to feel upset and so I just walked into my room to change out of my soaked black dress.

When I took my dress off I heard a knock on my door and auntie Yuka asking me if she can come in. "I'm changing right now but you can come in when i'm done" I yell out to her while she replies "alright then Alice" I decided to wear a nice little pink and white onesie that I remember wearing when I was really little.

"You can come in now" I tell auntie Yuka while I see her walk inside my room. "I'm soryy your birthday wasn't how you expected" she told me in a soft calm voice. "We all want to give you your present so come to the living room okay" she tells me while I start to feel upset at how today went. 

After auntie Yuka told me that I started to curl up into a ball on my bed and start to feel sleepy. Before I knew it I was back in the little garden that I was in earlier today. "Is something wrong princess?" I hear someone say before I turn around and see mommy standing there. "I don't want to hurt people" I tell mommy while running over to her. She gives me a big hug which makes me start to  relax while I feel daddy's presence too. 

"I love you mommy" I tell her while she smiles at me and I see her cry. "I love you too my little angel" mommy tells me while I can feel her tears fall on my shoulder. "It's okay mommy" I say to her while daddy also tries to help mommy stop crying. "Everything will be alright Lucy" daddy tells mommy before I see them start kissing.

"We love you Alice" daddy tells me after they end their kiss and he starts walking over to me. Daddy picks me up and begins to hug me which makes me smile. "I love you daddy" I tell him while he continues to smile at me. "I love you too Alice" he says to me before putting me down. "I think it's about time you open your present" mommy and daddy say to me before handing me a present.

 "Open it after the others okay?" mommy asks me while I smile at them. "I will mommy don't worry" I say to them while taking the present and started walking into one of the stone carved openings in the garden. I waved goodbye to mommy and daddy before walking into  the doorway and started to think to myself "What will tomorrow be like?" before waking up with the present from mommy and daddy in my hands.

I started to walk along the wooden hallway until I was in front of the bamboo door that lead into the living room. "Here she is" auntie Mayu said out loud while everyone else was smiling at me. They didn't notice the present I had in my hands until I took a few steps inside. "Where did you get this?" uncle Kouta asked while uncle Dash looked happy. "I see even your parents wanted to give you a gift" he told me while I smiled and everyone sat on the floor confused and shocked.

"Here you go Alice" auntie Mayu told me while handing me a little black box. Inside was acute little pink ring that fit me perfectly. Auntie Nana then gave me my present which was a light blue skirt to go with mommy's ribbon. Everyone else gave me my gifts which were a little golden tiara, a stuffed cat and a photo album.

 The tiara was from uncle Dash, the cat was from auntie Yuka and the photo album is from uncle Kouta. "The pictures are full of your parents" uncle Kouta told me while I smiled. "The last present is from Lucy and Grima" uncle Dash told me while handing it to me because I had to put it down to open my gifts. When I unwrapped the pink and purple wrapping paper I started to cry. It was a picture of me, mommy and daddy inside the garden smiling.

Everyone took a look at the picture and began to cry as well. "Their looking out for you, their little angel" uncle Kouta said out loud. "That is right" we hear a woman say in a faint voice. We all look at where the voice came from and was shocked. Mommy and daddy were standing there smiling at us but they were ghosts. "We will always be inside your hearts" daddy told everyone before him and mommy looked at me. 

"We love you little princess" they tell me while everyone cries even more. "We miss you" uncle Kouta said quietly which made them smile more. "Thank you for taking care of our angel" mommy told uncle Kouta and everyone else which made them smile. "Take care everyone" mommy and daddy both said before disappearing.
