Dinner with rival

I walk slowly, so I can know who was it, without awkwardly saying hello or something. It was Ben and Kat. What are they doing here? Ugh.. Joe. I go to them pretend that nothing weird happened. "Hi Ben! Hi Kat!" said me and give them a smile. "Hi.." said Ben. Kat only reply it with a smile. "Joe, can I talk with you for a moment, at the kitchen?" ask me. Joe get up from his seat and came to the kitchen as I walk inside. "Joe, what are they doing here?" said me strictly. "Well, since they were in America, why didn't I show my place?" said him.
Joe walk closer to me and kiss my forehead. "Come on, the guest is waiting for us" said Joe and lead me to the dining room. Well, the dinner gone well. But, it's awkward for me being in the same table with Ben and Kat since me and Ben have a relationship that Kat and Joe doesn't know. When they about to go home, Ben excuse himself to go to the bathroom. I was on my room. Ben pretend to go to the bathroom just to talked to me.
Ben knocked the door and opened it slowly. "Hey, uh.." said Ben. "Hi.." the only word that came out from my mouth, because I have nothing to said to him. "Ha..have you met Kat, yet? You haven't said nice to meet her.." said him nervously. "Why do I have met her?" said me madly. I turn on the tv on and turn the volume up.
Ben feels awkward when I'm ignoring him. He came closer to the table near the bed, take the tv remote and turn it off. "Have I done something bad to you? Why suddenly you leave me? After all the time we have been through" said Ben sadly.
Just like I thought, Ben still not realising that I have a feeling for him. "I just not in the mood for talk" said me. "No! You're lying! I have been a friend of yours since a long time. You even haven't told me that you were with Joe!" said him more emotional. "What for? Why I have to told you about my privacy? You didn't even care! You already have that girl" said me strictly to Ben and stood up from the bed.
"Wait.. are you.. are you jealous of Kat? You have a feeling for me right?" ask him. What the what? Ugh, this guy is totally makes me more emotional. "No, I don't have a feeling for you! Not a single feelings. You know why we being friends? It because of our parents! Your parents and my parents were best of friends!? Now, I don't want you in front of my face. Go home and bring your precious girl, Kat back to London!" said me while push him out from the room and I locked the door room.
Ben was speechless. He only cried and cry even more. He walk back to the living room to Kat and Joe. Joe confused when he sees Ben's sad face. "Ben, are you alright? Why do you cried?" ask him. Ben wants to mad at Joe, but he control his emotion. Ben was jealous of Joe. Ben started to fall in love with me since what happened back at the hotel.
"Haha.. I'm not crying. It's just a dust fly through my eyes" said him while laughing a little. "Anyway, we have to go. See you tomorrow, Joe!" said Ben while holding Kat's hand and walk outside of the house. They go back to the hotel. Joe feeling so tired, because we stay up late only for the dinner.
He walk into my bedroom and bring me a cup of tea. "can't sleep, sugar? Here's a tea for you" said Joe while gave the tea to me. "Oh, babe.. you know me so well" said me while holding his hand. He kissed my forehead and walk away to the bathroom to change his clothes to a pajama. After he done changing his clothes, he walk to the bed and lay his body on the bed.
"What happened to Ben? He seems weird today?" ask Joe. "What do you meant by that?" ask me curiously. "The dinner fell so awkward since you didn't talk a lot and Ben face was sad after he done from the bathroom" explain him. I want to told the truth but I don't want to make him miserable and sad.
