The Heirs

Chapter 06

Eunwoo and Jae Han stare each other down.

"I've missed you, friend." Eunwoo stare at him. "Welcome." Jae Han stares back. "Loosen up. I'm not going to do anything right now." Eunwoo said. "Lets just say hi now. You'll scare the kids." Jae Han teased him.

Moon Bin walks into the circle of kids without realizing while texting Rocky. He stops, feeling the gaze of everyone and sees Eunwoo and Jae Han. Jae Han whistles, "What is this complete gift set?"

Eunwoo says to Moon Bin, "You came here without a uniform?" Now Jae Han really suspects something between Moon Bin and Eunwoo. Rocky realizes the danger that Eunwoo has just put Moon Bin in and comes to help Moon Bin. He says, "Come with me" ,and drags him away, while giving Eunwoo a dirty look. Wow, Moon Bin is making quite a name for himself already. Sanha expresses his annoyance and Do Yeon agrees.

Do Yeon wants to leave with Eunwoo but Jae Han grabs her and holds her tight by her side. "The oppas are still talking, sister. How can we end this without a hug and tears?" Eunwoo says, "There is no need for hugs, But let me know if you need tears. I can make you cry." Jae Han says, "See! Its already fun. I am going to be excited coming to school everyday." Eunwoo grabs Do Yeon back. "If you are worried about that, think about transferring. Since I can't because my mother is the chairman here." Jae Han nods, "Oh! You differentiate between mother and mom." Eunwoo's face hardens. "Did I go to far on the first day. I was just glad to see you. See you around often." Jae Han struts off with a smile on his face.

The crowd disperses after Do Yeon and Eunwoo leave. Sanha's friend is finally seeing this Eunwoo that he's heard of as a devil who can surpass Jae Han. Still he is so good-looking. Sanha says Eunwoo is the devil because he bullies kids with that face. Sanha tells friend that Eunwoo was his first love.

Do Yeon and Eunwoo talk. Do Yeon wants to know if Eunwoo had anything to do with Moon Bin coming to this school. Eunwoo says a bit since his mother (Ah Jung) is the one show signed the transfer papers. Do Yeon clarifies she wants to know if Eunwoo had any say in Moon Bin coming. Eunwoo says, "When was our say of any importance in the decision our families make? I didn't even have a say in my engagement." Do Yeon looks slightly surprised? Do Yeon says now she wants to talk about them two, but Eunwoo walks away, saying that what was said till now WAS about them two.

Rocky and Moon Bin talk about Rocky not telling Moon Bin that Eunwoo was Jeguk Groups son. Rocky asks if that would have changed anything with his current situation. Moon Bin has no answer.

Rocky tells Moon Bin that there is a strict hierarchy in school.

The first is financial management heirs- the chaebol kids. (The kids talk about their parents businesses).

Second- the stock heirs- they wont take over business but they already are major stockholders.

Third is prestige, honor heirs- children of lawyer and government officials.

Fourth and final is the heirs of societys charity- like Rocky and Moon Bin.

Even though Rocky is not as poor as Moon Bin, still, he is only the son of a head secretary. Moon Bin wonders if he will be able to survive in school. Rocky reassures him, saying that at least he has someone on his side. He had no one, as did the other kids in their rank.

Rocky tells Moon Bin that he is the grade rep, and that is why he gets the call from the teacher. Moon Bin is called in by teacher.

Moon Bin hesitates writing what his mom does. He is about to write housewife, but teacher says she heard his mom was a house maid. Another student hears, the bullied kid. Moon Bin says meekly, "She is also a housewife."
