Just when (Y/N) had begun to think that her tiresome life would slow down for a little while, she was hit with two major bombshells.
One, her power-hungry, cunning cousin had descended upon Earth with seemingly hostile intentions, destroying a S.H.I.E.L.D facility and killing tens of her colleagues in the process.
And two, Brendon was still alive.
Enraged by the fact that she'd been lied to yet again – for the better part of a year – the goddess felt she was fast approaching her breaking point. Furthermore, her bodyguard had resorted back to his old detached ways, which had led to an emotional confrontation between the two.
