I groan at the sight of my phone lighting up

7 am is way too early

I drag my lifeless body out of bed and make my way to the bathroom to begin my daily 1routine

Soft knocks came from the door behind me
"Jeongguk?"

Opening the door, it reveals a middle aged woman smiling at me

"Yes mum?"

"How are you today?" She questions

"Fine, I'm heading off soon"

"Be careful" Her worried eye stare into me

"I'll be fine" I say brushing through my hair
"I promise"

She ruffles my hair
"Make some good friends, forget about the past, yeah?

I nod, leaving the bathroom

"Bye minji" I weakly wave

"Bye kookoo!" She says munching on her captain crunch cereal

It's cold

Its November

The time is 8:30, I still have 30 minutes

20 minutes pass and I'm stood at the gates of my new school

"Come on jungkook, just do it" I whisper, fiddling with my fingers

The school is huge, how will I find my way around?

I open my timetable to see
Maths 02

Ah, seriously?!

I end up walking around aimlessly, unable to find my class

I just huff, accepting defeat

"Do you need help?" A voice approaches me

"If you dont mind, do you know where Maths 02 is?" I ask

Turning around I find that the voice belongs to a red headed boy, quite tall and very smiley

"You're not that far away, here I'll walk you" he responds

I simply smile at his kind gesture

Now walking side by side, he breaks the silence

"You new?"

I nod

"Well nice to meet you! I'm Hoseok"

"Jungkook"

"Well here we are Jungkook" Hosoek stops at a maths room

"Thank you" I reply then scuttle into the room

All eyes are on me

A loud Sigh comes from the right of me

"Name?"

I turn to the teacher
"Jungkook, sir"

He nods
"Dont be late again"

I spot an empty seat in the back

Multiple whispers, including "is he new?" "Hes kinda cute", circle the room

Maths was awkward, luckily I managed to get to lunch without embarrassing myself yet

The cafeteria is packed

I walk down the centre to try and find an empty seat

"Jungkook!" A familiar voice shouts

I swivel on my heels to see Hoseok calling me over

I rush over and sit next to the loud man

"stop being so loud" another man covers his ears

"Shut up hyung" hoseok snaps back
"Hi jungkook"

"Hi" I reply looking slightly down

"Ahh, you're shy"
A few seconds later he follows up with
"So let me introduce you to my friends"

I eye the other guys as Hoseok tells me their names

"So we have, Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Jimin, and taeh-, wheres taehyung"

"He's had art, he wont be long" jimin tells us

A few minutes later, a large and handsome man approaches the table

"anddddd that's Taehyung" hoseok finishes

Taehyung looks confused but never the less, takes a seat next to Namjoon

"Guys this is Jungkook, he just came today"

"Hello" I smile at them

"Awe cute" Seokjin suddenly says
"He looks like a baby!"

I begin to turn red at the sudden remark

"Dont creep him out hyung" jimins face turns disgusted
"So jungkook, where have you transferred from?"

"I haven't been to school for a year, I'm from Busan" I explain

"Oh Busan? Me too!" Jimin laughs to himself

"Is your face okay?" Taehyung pipes up

"Taehyung you cant just ask about someones face!" Namjoon smacks him

"Hey! I was only curious"

"Heh, I'm fine, it's just a scar" I shy away

"Oh I'm sorry"

The scar on my face brings back the memories of that night, the way it covers the right side of my face still hurts

Soon the day was over and I was exiting the school building

"Hey jungkook wait up!" Jimin tells from behind me

"Hey jimin what's up?"

"I wanted to invite you to the arcade, were going there now and I didnt want you to be left out" he smiles

"Ah I'd love to but I need to go do something"

I was about to turn and leave jimin when I got stopped in my tracks

"Oh my god is that you Jungkook?"

"S-sehun"
