chapter 10

"Yes. I'd go on a date with you." I finally reply.

Hearing my answer a smile came up on his face. Wait did he like me? Did my my freaking crush like me?

Jeez Kia. He asked you on a date. Not to marry him. But still. He freaking asked me on a date.

Am I the only one who has internal battles with my heart and brain?

Bottom line, Zedd Wales asked me on a date. He freaking asked me out.

*the next day*

I got up early and walked downstairs to find my mom talking on the phone. " yeah, I'll tell her." She replied.

"Who was it?" I asked my mom. "Sav" she replied. "She said that she wanted burgundy in her wedding theme"

"Ok cool" I said back.

I walked into the living room and plonked myself on the couch. That's when my phone started ringing. I picked t up without reading the name. "Hello" I said

"God morning sleepy head" I heard his voice. Oh shit. I checked the name on my phone and it said ZEDD.

Kia! I mentally slapped myself for speaking like a frog early morning. "Kay! You there?" I heard a voice from the phone.

"Yes good morning .sorry if I sound like a frog. I just got up. So tell me what makes you want to speak me this early in the morning?" I asked. " I hope you remember we have the trials of the dresses of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen in the next 20 minutes ." He said. "Oh hell! Well shit! I'm not ready" I wanna exclaimed. " I'll meet you there in 10" I said to him. "Bye." "Bye."

I went to my room and threw on skinny jeans and a white tee. " Shel! We need to go! Dress up!" I screamed towards his room. "Coming" he replied.

In the next 10 minutes we left in Sheldon's car and reached the location on time. When I reached there I saw Olivia, Jades's sister who was also Sav's god friend, I mean they literally grew up together. That's how I met jade afterall. Naina, my cousin from India and Rahi her twin sister.  Talking to Naina, or rather flirting was Sav and Olivia's best guy friend, Jack. Next to them Was Zedd who was talking to his cousins Enrique and Josh. Samuel, Zeke's best friend was also there. Jade was running a little late but she would be here soon.

We entered the boutique and the guys went their section on the left and we entered on the right. In the middle was a big blush poof surrounded with hundreds of dress samples.

The kind lady who worked there took us to the dressing room and we tried on a few dresses. The one I tried on was blood red gown and had a slit that went right up to my thigh. I took a round in it and saw myself in the mirror. It looked beautiful. I came outside where all the girls were with different dresses.

" You look amazing" said Naina and Rahi in unison. "Thanks guys" I replied.

Jade had arrived. We finally decided on a dress for all the bridesmaids. It was a shade of burgundy just like savannah had asked with whit detailing. My dress was a little different from the rest as mine was the maid of honour dress. But it was a little darker shade than the others and mine had silver detailing.

*on the way back home*

"I'm hungry. Let's get something" said sheldon. "Sure" I replied as I was glancing at my phone cause I got a message. It was from Zedd.

*The next day*

I dressed in a white halter top and black skinny jeans with red sandals. I was going to meet zedd as we had to run a few errands for the wedding. Zedd was coming to pick me up at 9 and there were 10 minutes left. I threw on a mascara and put some lipgloss and tied my hair in a high ponytail. 

I ran downstairs when I heard the bell. But when I opened the door and there he was dressed in black skinny jeans and a white tee shirt. Oh good lord! We matched! Coincidentally.

"Ready?" He asked . "Yeah" I replied.

When we sat down in the car, he said

"so I wanted to ask you something"

Ok I am so so sorry for updating late, I  started my sophomore year aka 10 grade and had really important exams so yeah. I just finished my first semester so I'll try updating. Sorry for the delay! I promise I won't leave this book without completing it. It's my first and it's really special to me.
