It was the summer of 2018 and Amelia was always seen outside. Whether it be to attend to her bountiful garden, or repainting her fence for the 50th time, and so on, she would always be seen outdoors.

This worried everyone, of course. It was obvious that the girl had thrown herself into her hobbies to mask the pain she felt from Jack leaving her.

But she insisted she was okay. And she really was. They just didn't understand why she does what she does.

Benny came around every day, making sure that Amelia ate and took care of herself well.

After some time she stopped, only coming around occasionally since Amelia seemed to have forgotten Jack completely.

By that time, her home was practically straight from a fairytale; There were beautiful, lush green trees and bushes, the sweetest smelling flowers, and the occasional birdsong.

However, Amelia seemed to distance herself from her friends more and more each day.

Why?

Because she knew that she didn't really need them. What, or who, she needed was him.

The one who'd take her away from everything and help her feel better.

She used to believe that it would be Jason, but then he simply left after some time.

After some thinking, she realized that what Jason did to her wasn't bad. In fact, she wanted to thank him for doing so. She saw that him cheating on her and leaving was no accident from whoever has the fate of the human beings on this planet in their hands. It was supposed to happen.

And if that was supposed to happen, then there's no doubt that someone, somewhere was going to help her with everything, whether they realize it or not.

It was only a matter of time.

So now, she waits outside every day.

Waiting for the right man to come along and give her what she needs to move forward with her dream.
