Damien Stark made his way out the door, fishing his keys from the pocket of his black jeans. He locked the door to his parents' house before turning around and beginning to walk. He ignored the pitiful looks his neighbors gave him.

After all, he WAS a 26-year-old man exiting his parent's house, with seemingly nowhere to go.

However, that wasn't the full story.

In reality, Damien was the ideal 26-year-old; He was smart, had a steady job, and charismatic. With ash-grey eyes that seemed to pierce your soul and hair as dark as night, he was also seen as one of the most attractive males in his neighborhood.

But that didn't matter to him. He was looking for something else, something that nobody else seemed to be looking for.

While most people would have been content with the life he currently pursued, he wasn't exactly in the same boat.

He believed that his life lacked a certain sense of spontaneity, or change.

That day, after having endured an entire day of typing his life away in an office, he came home. That was also the night that he explained to his parents that he'd be moving away. They, being the loving and understanding parents they were, accepted his decision wholeheartedly and allowed him to move on.

So here he was, a seemingly average 26-year-old male out and about on the streets of New Jersey, looking for a change. Eventually, he got tired and sat down on a bench in a park. He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply and resting his aching feet.
After about five minutes, he felt a presence sit down next to him. Peeking open his left eye warily, he saw that it was just his friend, Dallon.

"Strange seeing you here." Dallon poked Damien in the arm playfully.
"Needed a break." Damien muttered before opening both of his eyes with a sigh and turning towards Dallon.
"Well, lucky for you, my friend. I happen to have an invitation to a party this evening and you happen to be tagging along with me."

Damien sighed, already knowing that it'd be near impossible to talk himself out of going.
"Address? Time?"
"I'll text it to you. See ya Red."
Damien groaned at the nickname; It only came from the fact that when Damien and Dallon met, Damien had in bright red highlights and an emo haircut.

On that note, Damien stood up and made his way home to rest. As he plopped down onto his bed, he felt his phone vibrate.

196 Johun Ave, @10pm

I'll be waiting at the front for you.

Noting that it was currently 9 pm, Damien headed over to his drawers, getting ready to go over to the location.  He pulled out a red and black flannel shirt, black ripped skinny jeans, and white Converse high-tops before putting it on. Glancing at himself quickly in the mirror, he sighed and made his way over to the address.

"This should be interesting....."
