- I can't believe you are actually getting married next week. - Dinah says as they have an ice cream at their favorite place.
- Me either... I mean, I knew this would happen at some point, but it just feels so damn real right now. - Camila let out as she took some chocolate ice cream to her mouth.
- Girl, I don't know if you're brave or crazy. - Dinah commented in a light and playful tone, even though she really meant those words.
- What do you mean? - The smaller girl asked curious.
- I mean that you're just 20 years old and you're getting married to your first boyfriend.
- Come on, Dinah. Austin is a great guy and we're together since I was 15. I'm so used to him.
- That's exactly my point. You see, I have nothing against him, I do like him and I think you guys are cute and all, but you didn't even have fun before deciding to be with one person for the rest of your life.
- I don't need to have fun, I'm comfortable with him.
- Do you have the butterflies with him?
- Dinah, you know that I don't believe those things.
- It's a no. And you wanna know why I know this? Because we had this conversation before.
- Dinah, butterflies are for songs and books, in real life this just doesn't happen.
- Being so cold you really are in the right path. Engineering suits you because numbers have no emotions.
- Oh, don't say that, Dinah...
- Ok, ok, ok. I'm sorry. I should understand how different we are. I've kissed more mouths than I can remember and I wouldn't limit myself to any one right now, but it's your life and I should respect your choices.
- Thank you very much.
- But I need you to let me do something before I finally be quiet about you getting married so soon.
- What is it that's gonna shut your mouth?
- A Bachelorette party!
- Dinah, I don't go to parties.
- Exactly, but if you really intend to get married only once in your life...
- That's exactly what I intend to do Dinah.
- As I was saying... If that's your life plan, than let me just show you what my single life looks like for one night and then I promise that I will be the most supportive person towards your marriage. I'll even be an aunt to your kids if you decide to have them, because since you're up to a boring life I can picture you having kids pretty soon.
- A boring life?
- A traditional life. Sorry... - Dinah let out with irony in her voice. Camila noticed, but instead of getting mad she laughed at her friend's behavior. - The girls agree with me.
- They agree with you?
- Yeah. Me, Mani and Ally have talked about it already. It's just that they don't have the balls to tell you what they think. But I do. So, what do you say?
- I don't know, Dinah...
- Come on... Think about the fact that it will shut my mouth. - She said laughing.
- I have to talk to Austin.
- Are you gonna ask him for permission?
- I will ask him how he feels about it.
- How he feels about it? - She asked in disbelief. - What if he says he doesn't like the idea?
- Then I won't do it.
- Asking for permission.
- We're about to get married Dinah. Why would I pick up a fight with my future husband because of a party I don't even care about going?
- Ouch! - She let out and their attention was directed to the sound of Camila's phone ringing. When she took the device, Austin's name and picture showed up on the screen. - Perfect timing. You can ask for your permission now. - Camila looked at her phone with reprehensive eyes and accepted the phone call.
- Hey baby. - She said as she picked up the phone. Dinah rolled her eyes, because she was upset and continued to have her ice cream. - Wait, now? - Camila asked with an unpleased face and Dinah decided to pay attention to her friend's reaction on the phone. - On Monday? - Camila looked mad and Dinah grew more curious about what Austin was telling her. - Ok then. - Camila said in a lighter tone. - Enjoy it and be careful! Love you!
- Ok, what is going on? - Dinah asked as soon as Camila ended the call.
- Austin is leaving to Vegas for his bachelor party with his friends and he'll only be back on Monday.
- Girrrrrrrrl... - Dinah said in a teasing way. - Did he ask you for permission?
- Whatever Dinah...
- When is he leaving?
- Now.
- So you're alone for the weekend.
- Yes, and I need to ask you something.
- What is it?
- What's there to do here on a Saturday night?
- Girl, it's California. There's always a million things to do on a Saturday night. - She said in excitement. - I guess I'll show you my world tonight. Let me just call Mani, I think there's something special happening at the Plaisir Plaza tonight.
