Helloooo Guys!!! I updated this story after too long and dedicate this chapter to my dear friend @kollynut2324 who is an amazing writer. I am a great fan of her books. She had a huge collection of books written by herself, which was lost unfortunately. Please do have a look at her written works. You'll definitely fall for them!

"Oh my God, it's already 7!" I screamed and ran out of my room passing a confused Sam.

I ran out of the hostel and quickly got into a trishaw and reached college in about 10 minutes. And Divya was already there with her wicked smile. "I'm sorry Divya, I got a bit late because..." I stopped when Divya raised her hand gesturing me to stop. "Who do you think you are? How dare you call me by my name?" My heart started to sink.

I thought I'll be in trouble for getting late, but here I am. Seems like college is going to be troublesome hereafter.

"Call me Chief. Chief with a capital C! My previous friends always feared my name. I don't like to talk about them. They are no more important to me," I could feel the disgust in Divya's tone. What does she think of herself? Ajith from Arambam?!?! "Got it Chief with a capital C," I replied sarcastically but quickly looked down when her deadly eyes met mine. "This is your last warning. Make sure to be here by 7 hereafter," she said firmly. "Yes Chief."

I walked behind Divya like her tail following her wherever she went. I had to do all her work from carrying her bag to tying her shoe lace. I knew it was all way too much, but I did it because I knew that the other college students are safe now specially Atharvaa. His unusual name made me smile all the time. Finally, when college began, I gave a shock to all my friends by going and sitting next to Divya in class. Sam was terribly annoyed. I could feel that through her bulging eyes. I didn't tell her this deal between Divya and I because Divya made me promise that I will not tell anybody about it.

It was the break. I walked out of class with Divya passing a very angry Sam. I tried giving her a pleading look, but she didn't even look at me. Everybody else was looking only at me, even they must be confused why I'm walking behind Divya like a dog.

I stopped dead when I noticed Atharvaa. Unlike everybody else, he wasn't looking at me. He was standing about 50 metres away under a tree, talking to one of his friends.

"Love can be felt even if it's miles apart," Divya said dramatically when she caught me staring at Atharvaa. "It's clearly visible in your eyes," I automatically blushed for those words.

"Let's see if he too feels the same," the wicked smile appeared back again on her face. "Ouch," I felt an immediate pain in my arm and then I realized that Divya has twisted my arm to my back and held it firm. I screamed in pain and everybody stared at us.

"Hey!" Atharvaa came running and once he had reached closer to us, Divya slowly released my arm. I quickly held my arm and tears ran through my eyes like a river. Atharvaa came closer and held my hand.

My heart melted at his touch and seeing the pain in my face he stared angrily at Divya, "Won't you understand when I tell you once?" He charged towards Divya.

I quickly stood between them and protected Divya. "Please Atharvaa. Leave this," my heart ached when those words dropped out of my mouth. "What are you saying? She's hurting you," Atharvaa said with confusion clearly visible in his eyes. "There's no fault in her. We were just playing." "But.." I clasped my hands together and begged him with pleading eyes, "Please leave this. Don't make it an issue." I felt he understood something, because he stepped back and left the place.

Divya gave a smirk and started walking. I picked up Divya's and my bags which I had dropped on the floor and simply followed her.

We walked until we reached a space which was shaded by a huge tree. There was a bench underneath where a maximum of three people could sit. Divya sat on it and I just stood in front of her wondering what to do.

"Give me my food," she ordered. I quickly handed over her lunchbox. "Sit," she ordered again. I sat next to her on the bench. "Oi, stand up stand up," she started shouting at me. "You are not my equal. You can never sit next to me except for in class. Understood?" "Yes Chief," I quickly nodded. "Sit!" she commanded again. I sat on the huge roots of the tree. "Eat." I took my lunchbox out, when I smelled something very delicious.

It wasn't from my lunchbox but Divya's. She had opened it and started eating. I didn't know what she was eating. Probably some city food, but it smelled so good that I badly wanted to have a piece.

I opened my lunchbox, but it was empty. "Are you fasting today as a hope to escape from me?" Divya asked. I shook my head. I had forgotten my food in a hurry because I was already late in the morning.

"What happened?" Divya asked making sure her tone didn't sound concerned. "I forgot my food," I replied. There was silence. Divya didn't say anything. Slowly she passed her food to me. I was surprised.

"You need to have energy to face my punishments. Eat and fill your tummy. Otherwise you won't stay for too long," she replied with no emotions on her face and turned the other way. I couldn't understand if this was the way she cared for people. I am not anybody to her for her to care for me anyway. Is this another one of her tricks? Or is there a diamond hidden behind this heart made of stone?
