This was a horrid idea. Why did she have to be so stupid? The words were out of her mouth and there was no taking them back. She had to be a woman and face it.

"Ahh. I see.  Well if you wouldn't mind I would like to get your vitals and temperature. I don't know if it is just me but I do think it is getting quite hot in here." He said walking over to the door hook and putting his coat on it.

He went to the drawer and pulled out a black stethoscope with red details. He then rolled up his sleeves and said;

" If it is not too much trouble, might I request that you turn around and face the wall?"

Rachel did as she was told. She shuffled around until she got comfortable on the table with her back towards the doctor.

"This may be a tad cold. However just breathe normally." Doctor Michaels warned.

As usual, Rachel did as told and started breathing normally after she felt the chill of the metal.

"Excellent. Your breathing is in tip top condition. If I may have your wrist, I'd like to check your pulse..."

Rachel said nothing as she handed him her wrist. She felt a small amount of pressure on the spot but it was nothing too much. Just then, after Doctor Michaels took his finger off her wrist, a knock came at the door.

"Who is it?" Doctor Michaels asked.

"I was just letting you know that I'm clocking out sir. I will see you tomorrow. Miss Dallas is your only patent today."

" thank you, Margret. Have a good day now."

" you too sir."

'Just him and I.  This will be a long trip.'
