Chapter 12

"What the hell is going on Jared? Why the hell did you just" I imaved my hand in the air trying to think of the word "Growl! at him!" I finall said. Jared just kept pacing back and forth at the hotel parking lot, which by the way was full.

After 5 minutes without a response I stomped my foot, which was hard to do in heels, and said "SAY SOMETHING WILL YOU!"

"You won't believe me if I do." He finally said. His pacing had come to a stop.

"Just tell me. I won't laugh or whatever it is you think I will do" tapping my foot impatiently.

He let out a huff before saying "You're my mate."

"What the hell is that? It sounds like the things Mr. whatever his name is had said about werewolves and all that bologne"

"Bologne?" he let out a chuckle "Well you see.. all that he was talking about is true"

"What's true? That 'Werewolves' exist? " I asked him, putting air quotes on the word werewolves.

"Yes. The school you go to is full of werewolves. Youre practically the only human there" He said it so believable, but I was still skeptical.

"Come on Jared! Just tell me what is really going on. Stop with all this werewolf nonsense" I was getting tired of this

Letting out a frustrated sigh Jared looked at me and repeated "I'm not making this up Tam!"

"You expect me to believe this stupidity?" I asked

"Well how am I suppose to prove to you I'm telling the truth?" He asked. Exasperation seeping in his voice.

"I dont know.." I trailed off. Then added " Show me"

"What?"

"Show me"

"Um I dont know about that" he looked at me as if i would run away. "Promise you won't run away?"

Hesitating for a moment, my mind being undecisive. What if its real? Will i run? Will i scream bloody murder? Probably. Should i promise him i won't run away when i don't know if i will? After a long time I made up my mind to abide to his promise.

"Alright here we go" Jared said before stepping back and started to unbuckle his jeans

"woah woah. Hold up.." I started while trying to keep my eyes away from his half naked form. "I said show me your wolf form not a stripping show!"

He rolled his eyes " I'm not stripping for you hun. I have to tak my clothes off so it wont rip in the process" He explained.

"Oh. Well then go on" I gestured with my hand.

Trying to keep my eyes on his face or anywhere else, but his body was a bit hard. As he took of his shirt i had to turn around. I knew that if I kept staring at his well sculptured figure I'd surely jump his bones at a somewhat serious moment. That would be embarrassing.

Trying to keep my breathing under control I closed my eyes and counted to ten. It was harder than I though because th eimage of his body haunted my closed eyes. Opening my eyes "You done?"

"You can turn around" He told me.

Turning around, I was expecting to see a hairy person not Jared in his boxers. Quickly trying to cover my eyes I yelled "thought you had mutated or something!"

Feeling a hand over my own pulling it away from my eyes "you have to watch me transform to believe me" Jared softly said. His got breath fanning over my ear.

Gulping noticeably I let me hands fall to my side, eyes still closed and nodded. Taking a deep breath I mentally counted to 3 and opened my eyes. "Okay"

What happened before me was life changing. Jared's mouth had elongated, transforming it into a snout. Canines appeared, his back had arched, fur started to sprout everywhere, and there were cracking sounds. Then, in Jared's place was a caramel colored, abnormally big, wolf.

Out of fear I took a step back. My heart hammering in my chest wildly. This action didnt go unnoticed by the large wolf. A small whine came out of the animal. It took a step towards me. I stood there paralyzed by my fear.

"S-stay ba-back!" i stuttered holding up my hand.

A loud whine rang out in the open. Echoing, bouncing off of the trees behind the hotel. My mind was a whirl wind, filled with chaos. The myth of wolves, the scary things that hollywood loved to potray most, the thing that Bella from twilight befreinded, existed. It was real and it was in front of me.

The majestic creature was both fascinating, but terrifying at the same time. It was just so surreal.

Not knowing if I should run or not had me glued to my spot.

After much thought and a lot of reminding myself that it was just Jared and he wouldn't hurt me, I took a step forward. Slowly I raised my hand and tentively reached for Jared. Taking another step, I was near enough to actually touch him. His fur was suprisingly soft, Instead of rough. A low growl resonated from Jared. He leaned into my touch and nuzzled even closer.

Once I knew for sure that it was not going to hurt me I walked ever so close and leaned on him, my hand had glided to his ear. "Oh Jared" I said. Wrapping my arms around him and being covered by his fur helped with the cold wind wiping my hair into my face.

We stayed lke that for a long time. Just cuddiling, if you could call it that. We didnt talk, obviously.

Nearly falling asleep on Jared, a beep startled me. Looking up I saw a car heading our way. The hell? Then I noticed that we were still in the middle of the parking lot and Jared was still in his wolf from. What a strange sight we must be.

Untangling myself I walked a bit away from Jared to retreive my purse thingy that I had unconsciencly dropped on the concrete. When I looked behind me, it scared me.

Jared was up growling at a man with a gun pointed at him.

"Stop!" I yelled.

"Miss you better step away! Its a rabid wolf. Leave before it does some damage" The man told me already in his firing stance.

"what?"

Then as Jared was about to leave the man fired "NO!" I cried out

HEHE I feel like a badass leaving ya'll in suspense like that XD

Anywhoser I'm so sorry I havent updated like I promised to do. Im really sorry guys :( I've got no excuse to have just left liked that. I hope you guys havent left me. And I'm not gonna promise anything b/c i dunno when I'll update. I hope It's soon though
