Y/n's POV

When Tom and I walked into the office, we saw two girls about our age, one with curly red hair and glasses, with a taller blonde girl, and they were both laughing and seemed to be good friends. Tom turned me around and gave me a quick hug, and a little kiss on the top of my head, because he could sense my nervousness by the way I was acting. It almost instantly calmed me down, and then I walked up to the main desk.

"Hey, this is Y/n L/n, and she is a new student here. Her schedule and locker should already be assigned and ready to go." Tom spoke for me, knowing that I got really bad social anxiety in situations like this.

"Thank you Tommy" I muttered quietly under my breath, while leaning into his side and resting my head on his shoulder.

"Any time Y/n/n. I'm always here." Tom spoke softly into my hair, while rubbing my arm.

"Okay so Ms. L/n, right here is your schedule and this is your locker number with the combination. If you have any questions you can ask these two over here." The office lady pointed to the two girls in the corner from earlier. "This one is Natalie." She spoke, pointing to the red head. "And this one is Madeline, but she goes by Maddie." She spoke about the blonde girl.

"Thank you so much ma'am." I spoke before turning around and walking out of the office, with both the girls behind me and Tom.

"Hey Y/n. I'm Natalie, obviously. Welcome to BRIT school of preforming arts." She put her hand out for me to shake, and I shook her hand just so it was less weird for the whole ordeal. "And this is one of my best friends Maddie. Maddie say hi." Natalie spoke as she elbowed Maddie in the ribs lightly to grab her attention.

"Hey, I'm Madeline, but you already knew that. Yeah, Natalie and I are here if you have any questions or need anything that Tom can't help you with." She spoke, giving a wink with the last part and I felt a blush creep up my neck and onto my face. (okay idk but it feels like everytime i blush my face itches????) I then moved my head to the ground and covered my cheeks with my hair so that Tom didn't see it.

"You alright love?" Tom asked as Natalie and Maddie walked away, leaving us to talk.

"Yeah, just a bit nervous I suppose." I replied, attempting to play it off as casually as possible.

"Come here for a minute darling." Tom spoke softly, taking my hand and leading us to a more quiet area outside of the lobby.

"What is actually the matter?" Tom asked, lightly rubbing the side of my arm.

"Look, I'm going to get right to the point here. What exactly are your feelings towards me? I mean you say I'm your best friend and then you turn around and act like we have been dating for God knows how long as soon as you see anyone else? Are you just using me because I swear to God Holland if you are I will personally see to it that you're never going to have children." I got really into his personal space and hit my fingers onto his chest, and he obviously got the hint and began looking really flustered.

Tom's POV

Uhm what am I supposed to say to my best friend/ the love of my life asking me what we are? Like I am not just coming out and saying how I feel. That would make me look like a total loser and I am not ready for rejection. My poor little heart wouldn't be able to take someone as important as Y/n telling me no, or worse, telling other people. Then I would get left behind and dropped, then I wouldn't have any other friends besides Haz, but lets face it, he would probably go and run off to her rescue then they're gonna start dating then my whole life is going to suck. Then, I am gonna be so upset over the loss of my first love that didn't know she was my first love that I'm not going to get the part of Spider-Man, and then my whole life is going to go downhill and I dont think im ready for it.
