Gia's POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing.

1 new text message from Randy.

Ughhh. I checked the time. 4:21 PM. I got up from the couch and went to take a shower. After my shower I got dressed in a black adidas sweatsuit and put on black sneakers. I grabbed my phone, room key and wallet.

I exited my hotel room and went down to the lobby.

"Gia, hey Gia!"

I turned around.

"Randy. I'm about to head to the arena."

"Me too. Let me take you."

"I don't know if that's a good idea." I hesitated.

"Please Gia. I wanna prove to you that I'm serious this time. I want to spend time with you and show you."

I sighed.

"Okay."

He smiled and we walked out to his car. I thought the car ride would be awkward but it wasn't. It felt like old times. He was telling me stories about his sons, strolled down memory lane and joked around. It was unexpectedly comfortable.

We arrived at the arena. We got out of the car and head inside.

"Meet up with me later?" He asked as we were about to spit up.

"Yeah, see you." He smiled and we walked away from each other.

I walked to hair and makeup to get styled for the live event. I didn't have an actual match tonight which is why I didn't bring my bag.

I have a promo to cut and then an attack.

"Gia?" I heard before turning around.

It was Aleister Black.

"What's up?"

"Ali is looking for you. He said he called you twice and you didn't answer."

"Hashtag best friend problems. Thanks for letting me know. I'll call him back."

He nodded and walked away. I grabbed my phone as a text popped up on my phone.

Where are you, tiny? -Ali Ali Oxenfree

Hair & Makeup. -Shorty

Okay. -Ali Ali Oxenfree

The finishing touches were made and I got up, thanking the hair and makeup crew. I left and walked to catering where I met up with Ali.

"Hey, you were looking for me?"

"Yeah, I stopped by your room to see if you were riding with me but got no answer. Tried the room key and saw you were gone." He explained.

"Oh yeah, sorry. I was about to get a car here. But then I bumped into Randy and he gave me a ride." He rolled his eyes at the sound of Randy's name.

"Ugh I can't wait until you get over him."

"Hey, what happened to being supportive?" I put my hands on my hips.

"Look I just wanna see you happy and glowing and treated like a queen." He wrapped his arms around my shoulders, embracing me.

Or more like trapping my head against his chest.

"Well aren't you sweet." I spoke sarcastically, lightly pushing him off of me.

He chuckled.

"Am I interrupting?" It was Randy.

"Maybe." Ali answered.
