Kyungsoo is in his office with Baekhyun who is comfortably sitting on the couch. Baekhyun began to tell him a story since he cannot stomach the silence that fills the room. While Baekhyun is busy telling him a story, Kyungsoo is just ignoring him and reading a file that he needs to sign.

"Oh, right. My friend Hagrid, I mean Seulgi said that Irene is with Wendy right now." At the mention of Wendy's name, Kyungsoo's attention is now on Baekhyun, brushing the file aside.

"Yeah? How is she?" Kyungsoo asked while looking at Baekhyun who is sitting on the couch after getting something to drink on his mini fridge.

After hearing Kyungsoo's question, he wriggle his eyebrows while smiling like an idiot. Kyungsoo then glared at Baekhyun who immediately shut up and after a few seconds, Baekhyun answered, "I don't know. Seulgi just said that Irene went to Wendy's restaurant and she is staying at her house."

"Restaurant?" Kyungsoo asked. "Yeah, according to Seulgi, Wendy owns a restaurant there. Do you want to go?" Baekhyun responds. "I can't. I have a lot of things to do here. I can't leave my responsibility." Kyungsoo answered while frowning and sighing deeply.

"Yeah? I know more than everyone else than you need a break. You've been working your ass off in order to build your own empire. Besides, I am here. Don't you trust me to take care of your company while you're away?" Baekhyun said.

"Uh, no. I don't really trust you but sure, you can be a dependable partner sometimes. But my answer is still no." Kyungsoo said while typing something from his computer.

"Whatever. Then what if I told you that I have something to deal with in Canada and I have to go there to, you know, discuss business?" replied Baekhyun who is smiling. Kyungsoo just shakes his head and answered, "I still can't and you know the reason why. It is not just because of my work."

"Is this about your deal with her? Dude, I don't know but don't you think that the deal is already done?" Baekhyun asked. "I honestly don't know. I wish I didn't agree to that stupid deal." Kyungsoo replied.

All of a sudden, Baekhyun's phone rang and he immediately excuse himself saying, "Give me a second, man. I need to answer this. It's Taeyeon." After the phone call, Baekhyun gets up and said, "Well, that deal helps the both of you to reach whatever you have now. And Kyungsoo, remember that the time is running."

Kyungsoo just sighed heavily and thinks what will he do next. He doesn't want to admit it but Baekhyun was right. The clock is ticking and he already wasted a lot of time. But then, what will happen when they both meet? What will he say? Did she already move on from him? Kyungsoo can't help but to overthink the possibility of Seungwan's moving on in her life without him and he doesn't like the thought of it. He immediately made called Baekhyun that he will be the one who is flying to Canada to meet the investors.

He sat comfortably, leaning his head back on his chair and thinking all the memories that he and Seungwan shared together.

He was known to be the greatest student when it comes to debates. Any topics, whether it is political, environmental, medical and etcetera, he knew how to win them. But then, a girl named Seungwan who is an exchange student from Canada, challenged him. He didn't know if he wants to laughed at her for being an idiot knowing that he will win whatever the topic was. But boy, he was wrong. So wrong. Seungwan singlehandedly defeated him with a topic that was proposed by her which was, "Genetic Cloning". She smirked at Kyungsoo who glared at her in return. Promising that he will win next time, Kyungsoo walked out of the room.

Little did they know that their interaction would not only be from debating but also through their friends who surprisingly are related to each other. Even at their lunch period where they sat together, they continue to contradict each other.

They were like fire and ice. Their personality are different from each other. Kyungsoo has a complicated personality, one day he is being kind and friendly. Then the next day, he will ignore you or talked in a monosyllabic way. A contrast to who is Seungwan is. She is the sunshine of the room, always positive, friendly and her smile can light up the whole room.

But then, their personality caused them to drew each other closer everyday. Just like fire and ice, they also have their weakness. Kyungsoo fell for her and he didn't know how, when or why. He just knows it because he can feel his heart racing when he sees her, he gets butterflies in his stomach when he is talking to her, he loved the way they bicker over smallest things but in the end, Seungwan always win just like how she won his heart.

On the other hand, Seungwan is oblivious to the fact that Kyungsoo likes her. She didn't even know she is falling for him slowly. But not until they talked about the pros and cons of being in love. Seungwan then realized that she has been feeling weird when she is with Kyungsoo.

After a year of being with her, Kyungsoo decided that he doesn't want to stay as her friend anymore. He wanted to take their relationship to the next level. But he was afraid because of the thought of Seungwan leaving him. And so he asked his friends who are Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Kai, for their ideas and opinions.

"Well, if I were you, I would see if she likes me first before I confess by making her jealous or avoiding her. When she asked you what's wrong or if you can see that she deeply affected, then that means that she likes you. But then this method doesn't work 100% because humans responds differently." said Baekhyun.

" If I liked a girl, I would slowly show my feelings to her. I believe on "action speaks louder than words". When the time comes which is when I know that she also have feelings for me, I will confess to her. But I don't know if this idea can work for you because you are not used to being a sweet person." Kyungsoo nods his head to Chanyeol's idea.

"When I fall in love, I would just confess to her because time is precious. If she rejected you, then try again. This procedure requires courage and a strong heart, mind and feelings. You must be ready for rejection if you straight up confess to her." Kai shared.

Kyungsoo still don't know what will he do to show his feelings to Seungwan. So he just tried all his friends idea. First, he ignored her until she went to asked him if they have a problem. The first procedure gave him a little hope that Seungwan might like him but to secure that she has feelings for him, he followed Chanyeol's idea. Little by little, he showed his affection to her by picking her up for school, giving her a ride home, buying her lunch, accompanying her when she need him to, sing for her, cook for her. Seungwan asked him what is reason why was he doing those kind of things to her. Kyungsoo then went to do Kai's idea.
