Keep yourself busy - Holidays mean lots of free time, which will magnify your feelings about the loss of your loved one. But, it is time to control your emotions and feelings. So, keep yourself engaged by improving your skills such as painting, learning music, playing chess, scrabble, and more. You can also invite a friend to spend some time over a drink while playing chess or share some of your most cherished memories with your loved one. This will lift your mood.
