Knock Knock "Ariana, are you almost ready yet?" I heard my mother say "ugh" I groaned as I stretched "Hun, come on it's time" she said as she sat down beside me. Then I sat up straight in my bed as I remembered. Today is my 18th birthday and for the scary part to find my mate. Don't get me wrong I've always wanted this day to come but I have some mixed emotions about it though.

Like being with someone for the rest of my life or what if I can't find the one also I've heard that once you find your mate and they're from a different pack you'll have to chose stay with your own pack or go into theirs. But that's the thing I most afraid of I mean I seriously don't think I can do that. I love my family and my pack but I'm just hoping that I don't really have to chose between the two. "Honey come on it's time to get dressed" my mom said pulling me out of my thoughts "ok" I dragged getting up "Ariana are you ok?" "uh yeah i'm just a little nervous that's all" I said giving her a reassuring smile "ok sweetie love you and happy birthday" "thanks mom" "oh and don't be nervous alright I know how you feel but once you find your mate it's like you're the only two people on earth and it's just indescribable but once you look into each others eyes you'll know" "ok thanks mom i'll try to relax" I smiled.

As she walked out and closed the door behind her I went to my closet and looked through all my dresses so I could have one to wear for tonight. Five minutes later, I finally found one it was black with white around the waist and on the shoulder also it was long in the back and short upfront about knee high. I laid it down on my bed as I went into my bathroom to take me a quick shower as I got done, I dried myself off and got started on doing my make-up. I put some light blue eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and some foundation once I got done with that I dried my hair and straightened it. Then I went back into my room to put my dress on and now time for the heels.

I put on my black heels that were about 4in. tall then put my sliver hoops and my amulet necklace I've had when I was little and I looked at myself one last time and I thought I looked pretty darn good. I walked out my bedroom door and closed it behind me as I walked through the halls and down our huge spiral stairs then into our ball room where we're having my party "Ariana! happy birthday... omg you look absolutely beautiful" I heard my best friend call for me "Hey Chloe thanks" I smiled. "So are you ready?" she asked "um... a little nervous but yeah I think I am I mean me and my mom talked a little about it but you know" "yeah I understand well bye I'll see you around later" she smiled then walked away "ok" I hollered at her. Then I approached my father, Ian and bowed my head at him he's the alpha of our pack.

"Hello father" "Hello Ariana happy birthday" "thank you" I smiled "I have something to tell you we have another pack coming over to visit it's the Arendelle pack and I was hoping you could find your mate from that pack hopefully" he suggested and that's exactly what I was afraid of "u-um ok but dad why does it have to be from a different pack I..." I couldn't finish what I was saying because the other pack and everyone else was showing up... great just what I need well here it goes.
