Introducing The Stupid Occurrences

We were running from the giant squid, when I bumped into McKenna. She looked back at the squid, still amazed at its features. Imagine the biggest giantist giant squid ever, with legs instead of tentacles. We turned around and kept running to the Sloan Manor. We pounded on the door, waiting for Mrs. Sloan to open it.

I'm kinda getting ahead of myself, aren't I? Nathaniel Crafterson is the name.It all started on Monday.

(1 month ago) Penolope Straightwood was going on about her new snake skin boots, when the bell rang. Mrs. Wolfe entered the room, a frown on her face. She was not happy. I smiled up at her, hoping we wouldn't get in trouble. How bad could it be?

Pretty bad apparently, because we got suspended. So, when you dispose of your dancing grasshoppers, your not supposed to do so inside of the school cafeteria. I was disappointed, but I didn't really care about it. McKenna was freaking out, she was our nerdy nerd of The Stupid Occurrences. Penelope was the girly girl. Lee was the sporty jock, and I was the weakling. Pretty much summed us up.

I didn't like the fact that I was small, it was just how I was. Our club met every day after school. And on this Monday we had someone new who wanted to join our club.

We were suspended, so we stayed in the treehouse all day. Miguel Brooks came with Penelope, and Lee. He was going to be our new member. McKenna didn't love it, but soon we would be The Five Stupid Occurences.

That sounded bad, we would stay The Stupid Occurences. We called ourselves this, because all of the stupid things happened to us. Including this one really weird time...

But, I'm getting distracted again. We held a cerimony of acceptance for Miguel. And soon enough we were ready to face anything. LIke all those commercials, where all of the cast is walking along in slo-mo. Then one of them trips, (probably me) and we all fall over.
