Chapter Three

[[Chapter Three]]

"Eddie!" Zayn yelled into the house, shutting the door behind him and putting his keys on the hook. "Edward?" He said, flopping down on the couch.

"Why do you always call me anything but my name?" Ed asked, entering the living room. He sat next to Zayn, bringing his legs up to the couch and sitting criss-cross.

"Because, Annie, it's fun." Zayn said, giggling.

"Well, look who's in a good mood." Ed said turning to Zayn. "How was your coffee date?"

"We didn't actually get coffee. We ended up staying at his place, drinking juice boxes." Zayn smiled at Ed.

"Phew. I thought I was going to have to pay you back for your coffee." Ed says, clapping Zayn on his shoulder. "We leave for the pub in an hour, look pretty. Though I doubt that'll be hard for you." Ed muttered the last part and skipped off to his room.

Zayn shrugged and headed off to his own room. He was searching his pockets for his phone when he realized he might have left it at Liam's, he shrugged. He'll run into Liam somewhere, or he could always just go back to Liam's place.

Would that be too soon? Zayn thought. Ed knocks on his door before walking in.

"This is for you." Ed said before handing Zayn the phone and walking out.

"Hello?" Zayn said lifting the phone to his ear.

"Hi, Zayn? It's Liam. Um, you left your phone here and I was wondering how'd you get it back. Then Ed was calling so I figured, hey if I answer Ed I can give Zayn his phone back! So I answered it. I hope you don't mind." Liam rambled.

"No, no, it's fine don't trouble yourself." He said, smiling as if he was unaware of Liam not being able to see him.

But maybe it was just that Liam had that affect on him, cute, tall Liam. With the soft brown eyes and a welcoming smile. And his laugh, with crinkly eyes. And how he would graze his hand across Zayn's softly-

"Zayn?" Liam asked, interrupting Zayn's thoughts.

"Oh sorry, what was that?"

"I was just saying maybe we could meet up for coffee again so you can get your phone back? And I do mean actual coffee this time." Liam chuckled.

"Oh right, sure. Sounds like a plan." Zayn laughed.

"Okay so what day is good for you? I was thinking tomorrow? That way you don't have to be away from your phone too long." Liam said, though that wasn't the real reason Liam suggested tomorrow. He wanted to see Zayn again.

"Yeah, totally! See you tomorrow 'round ten, yeah?"

"Yeah! Great. Okay see you tomorrow. Bye, Zayn."

"Bye, Liam." Zayn smiled, "See you..." He dragged on.

"Hey, Zayn?" Liam asked not wanting to hang up. "Remember when Louis said he was going to the pub and asked if I wanted to invite you? Well do you want to come? You don't have to, also this way you can get your phone back sooner..."

"Oh, uh. I was supposed to go to the pub with Ed in about an hour so we can meet up there?" Zayn suggested.

"Yeah, sure. See you in a hour." Liam smiled again, "Bye, Zayn."

"Bye, Liam." Zayn said removing the phone from his ear and hanging up.

Zayn sighed and flopped back on his bed, he squealed. He was happy about the fact that Liam suggested the Pub, because he wasn't sure if he could wait until tomorrow to see him.

Is that bad?

ugh I've been in such a the neighbourhood mood for the past few weeks so please listen to the song Wires its super sick I love it, it's one of my faves.

uh yeah so hope this wasn't too much rubbish, and sorry if it's short I had no inspiration but I wanted to update for you guys since this story is getting more reads than my other ziam fic so I updated this first.
