Chapter 6: Where Am I? Part 1

Gabbie's P.O.V.

I felt like I was floating, floating in a dark black hole. It felt endless and all I could hear was silence and the only company I have is my own thoughts and imagination. The feeling of being unconscious feels pleasant. No worries, drama and all that kind of stuff you have to feel or experience while conscious.

Suddenly, I felt myself waking up. I didn't want to though. I wanted to just feel nothing. No pain, stress, sadness, anger. all I wanted was to feel relief and nothing more.

My eyes then opened, the sun blinding me like they always do every morning but  I realized I was sleeping on a couch. 'Was it all just a dream?' I thought to myself, 'Did my house not set fire after all?' I felt calmed and sighed to myself, wiping my eyes. I then opened my eyes back up to find my suitcase by a lightly light hallway.

I then realized I wasn't in my own home. I didn't have a long hallway like that, nor did I have a dark navy blue blanket.

I then heard something coming towards me from the hallway my suitcase was near. I leaned up farther against the couch I was sitting on and hid myself under the blanket. I heard a bark and then the creature jumped up next to me. I popped my head up from under the blanket. It was a golden retriever.

I lifted up my shaking hand and pet the dog. The dog was very cute. I didn't have a dog though so this was definitely not my house at all.

"Ah, I see you woke up! Oh and you met my dog Skye as well." A voice said, coming from the hallway. I looked up hesitantly to only see a very slim goat looking man with a cup of tea in his hands, slightly smiling at me from afar.

"Where am I?"
