Cold Feet Part 4 🧣🗝

Chapter 4 - The Reception

After everyone left the chapel, they all headed towards the main hall to where the reception is going to be held. But except the newlyweds Eren and Mikasa.

Both of the newlyweds wanted to spend some time on their own before going to greet their friends as husband and wife. Mikasa just wanted to know why Eren had left her at the altar. She asked him "Eren, why did you run away from me when I arrived at the altar." Eren explained "I was just extremely nervous on how you were going to react if I cancelled the wedding all together." She replied back "Don't be silly Eren, I would have completely understood your decision to get married and I would have still loved you even if we didn't get married." Eren was relieved because Mikasa would understand if he didn't want to get married.

Mikasa said "Are we ready to meet our guests?" Eren replies "I'm ready." So both Eren and Mikasa walked hand in hand towards the main hall in which all of their friends were waiting for them. When they both arrived outside the main hall, Eren banged on the door and Armin opened it and everyone starting to cheer and shouting " CONGRATULATIONS TO EREN AND MIKASA YEEEAH!!!". Before heading off to the head table, both of them were thanking every single person for attending the wedding. Then both of them sat at the table with the best man and the maid of honour.

It was getting later on in the night after everyone has had their meal, Armin rose up and tapped his glass and announced "Everyone can I have your attention please?" Everyone stopped to look at him and listening very carefully on what he is going to say. He said " Hey guys, I would love to tell you about Eren, Me and Eren have been friends for nearly 14 years and we have been close ever since, when he introduced me to Mikasa when we were younger, I liked her straight away. When they told me that they were a couple, I was so happy for them and I could see that they were both deeply in love with each other and I am so happy that they are now happily married, I wish them all of the best for the future, let's raise a glass to the newlyweds TO EREN AND MIKASA." Everyone raised their glasses and shouted "TO EREN AND MIKASA." After Armin sat down , Eren patted his friend on the back and thanked him for that nice speech that he give them.

The next thing that had to been done was to cut the wedding cake. So all of them including Eren and Mikasa started to head towards the cake. The wedding cake was a white three tier cake with red roses and on the top was a miniature statue of Eren and Mikasa together. Eren and Mikasa picked up the cake knife and cut the cake together and had a sweet kiss afterwards to show everyone how much they are in love.

Eren and Mikasa headed towards the dance floor for their first dance. They stopped in the middle of the dance floor, Mikasa slowly put her arms around Eren's neck and then the music started to begin and then they both started to dance very slowly and romantically.

When the music eventually finished, Eren and Mikasa invited everyone onto the dance floor. Everyone got up and joined them on the dance floor, every single one of them got up on their feet to dance. It was getting later into the night and everyone was still dancing and enjoying themselves too much to stop.

But eventually everyone got very tired and all of them started to head home apart from Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Historia stayed behind. Historia asked " Eren and Mikasa, I would like to offer you a room for tonight so that you can spend the night together as husband and wife." Mikasa replied back to Historia "Yeah of course we would, thanks Historia for all that you have done for me and Eren today, you have made our day so special and it something that we are never going to forget." Historia replies back " You don't have to thank me, Mikasa, I have loved doing this for you and making the day special for you."

Eren and Mikasa started to head off to their room for the night because they both had a very exhausting day but it has been special. Both of them walked into the room and it was covered in red rose petals, Mikasa was so happy when she saw this. But Eren was so tired that he wanted to go to bed and go to sleep. So both of them got into bed and they slowly drifted to sleep with Mikasa in Eren's arms and she whispers " I love you, Mr Jaeger." He replies back "I love you too Mrs Jaeger."
