The talk

Penelope's POV
Josie and I haven't really spoke about the letter or our past, we kind of got sucked into a big ball of lust and passion And we forgot about the talk, we both knew the relationship wouldn't work without discussing the last but for the most part we were happy to just be in each other's arms again.

We were laying in my room Josie was in the bed doing some homework and I was laying up against my bed just scrolling through my phone,

"Hey jo"

"Yeees"

"We need to talk"

I could sense that what I just said made her heart jump

"No,no, not like that"

I reached up and grabbed Josie's hand

"Sorry my wording, we need tot all just about the past, clear the air I guess"

"Yeah I know"

Josie's sits up and pays the bed, I jumped up with a smile and sat across from her, wrapping my legs around each side of her and she was mimicking me, Josie grabbed my hands and started playing with fingers with hers

"So jo, can you tell me what I did that hurt you"

"Penelope, you broke my heart, we broke up over nothing well what it seemed, you always picked fights with my sister, and didn't like cuddle as much"

I couldn't help but smile at that last part,

"Jojo, we broke up beside you didn't have time for us well what I thought, I loved you so much and to see Lizzy do those things and talk to you that way, it fired me up, and the cuddles well Josie there only so much of the day I could have you tied to my hip"

She laughed, Josie was looking down, I placed my fingers under her chin and pushed it back up to make eye contact

"Josie I don't blame you for any of it, I forgive you and I forgive our younger selves, i here for you and to fight for this"

Josie similes

"I couldn't say it any better, Penelope I'm here for you and also to fight for us, I know the worst of Lizzy and shes my sister and she'll always be in my life and I will always fight for her but Penelope your the one I want"

I leaned in and roped my arms around her waist and pressed our foreheads together

"I'm glad, because your the dork that want"

She smiles, she cups my face and pressed her kissed against mine, the kiss was soft and full of love, the kiss was lingering and very warming, we broke apart

"Penelope I love you, and this is what I want"

"I know"

We went back to what we were doing, dinner came along and house and I made our way down to the dinning hall, hope and Lizzy we're sitting at the table talking and Josie clenched my hand

"Stop worrying jo"

I knew that Josie was a little nervous to be seen with me again but she loves me and she didn't really care

"I just don't want Lizzy to start"

"Well what if I don't fuel it"

Josie looks at me and smiles

"I love you"

"Josie I know"

I placed a kiss on Josie's cheek and went and sat down Lizzy something about about Satan and I just blew a kiss and bit my tongue when we sat down Josie still had her fingers locked with mine which I didn't mind, everyone was asking us questions or just looking at us but nothing could compare with the feeling I get with being publicly and officially with Josie then dinner was fine even better as I was with Josie but we were good and that's all that mattered
