Chapter 2: The school

Naota smiles opening the door for her.

She smiles in return "thank you naota."

He nods becoming shy fast as students pass.

"I hope you enjoy the school I will see you around."

He walks away with his hands on his pockets a light blush on his face biting his lip hard thinking a lot 'I really like her but.....'

He sighs 'all the things I've been through in the past...'

He leans against a locker once out of her sight.

'Will only bring her hurt and I will be lonely like I always will be but I'm also worried that ....'

A few girls walk past naota blushing and giggle passing by he runs his fingers through his hair standing up ' I'm just worried that..'

A girl walks up to him blushing. "Uh....um... N-naota h hi I'm in your English class I'm Emily I sit I front of you and um"

she blushes madly. "Will you go out with me?"

He looks at her and sighs. "Your beautiful Emily but you can do way better than me. I'm not that much to look at and I'm horrible at carrying in conversations. Plus I have lots of baggage."

She smiles " I can accept that" his frown deepens.

" I'm sorry but I can't date right now it still hurts..." He shivers at the memories and walks away going to the roof and sits on the edge looking at the town whispering

"the city is so beautiful every crack and corner and odd thing making the beauty multiply...." He sighs and cringes at the past memories and starts shaking.

FLASH BACK

"Mom I'm bi."

"Like hell you are I will beat it out of you"

"No please mom it's how I feel"

"No you don't you will be straight"

"But mom.... No wait what are you doing no mom ...... Ahhhhh"

"This will teach you to be straight"

Naota shudders at the memory holding his hand over just below his ribs on the left side remembering the pain.

Haruki stands at the steps watching him and drops her bag by accident.

Naota jumps and looks at her a tear in his eye but smiles.

"Hey beautiful" She looks at him, "whats wrong are you ok? If someone is bullying you i will beat their ass"

He smiles at that comment. " I'm fine come sit with me?"

She gets nervous " Uh-um i- i'm afraid of heights'

He nods going to her and holds her "no matter what i've got you"

She blushes wildly but melts into his warmth and smell.

He blushes holding her.

She looks up at him. "I know we have just met... b-but will you date me..... your the nicest boy i have ever known and the sweetest. Boys like you are hard to find a-and i'm confortable around you your the only person who treats me.... normal"

He blushes shocked at the sudden-ness of this and sigh but thinks. " yes i will but i will warn you i'm not the greatest as you think i have baggage and secrets"

She smiles and looks at him putting her hand on his cheek." We all do even i do that no one knows about."

He looks at her and smiles "this will be a great relationship i can already tell"

She blushes and nods " I believe so too"
